Martinez Electric

I have a duplex that needed the panels to be upgraded. After dealing with two other electricians/companies who didn't work out, I decided to give Martinez Electrical a try. I was looking for an ethical company as my two previous were a disappointment. Mr. Martinez was on time, gave me a reasonable quote and was willing to fix the mess that the other companies left. Mr. Martinez obtained the necessary permits and inspection was not a problem. Work was completed as promised. I then re-hired the same company to complete another job for the same location which was to pull permits to install a House Meter and install two exterior LED lights with sensors. Everything went as scheduled and I am very pleased with the job that was done. Please NOTE that one of the other companies which you must watch-out for and don't trust is Power Plus Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC. They were high priced and dishonest. After this company I had a friend of a friend who wanted to help for a small fee but it turned out he was not an expert.

I was very impressed, Efren is very efficient and knowledgeable. He pulled the required permit, got the job done right-a-way, and it was easily approved by the inspector. I would definitely recommend and hire him again.

All the electrical outlets in my kitchen were not working. When breaker was reset it would jump back. Martinez trouble shoot and found it was the garage disposal creating the breaker to jump. He fixed and outlet and garbage disposal. I was pleasantly surprised that he did it all for $100.

What a great guy!  Mr Martinez ran out within 2 hours of my call for an emergency breaker repair in 90 degree heat.  Not only did he repair my breaker, but he provided a quick and inexpensive solution for the reason it blew.

Efren is very professional, quick and service cost(s) are reasonable. It took him less than 30 minutes to perform the noted work. He is very friendly and provided me with a very reasonable quote to install some low voltage outdoor lighting. I highly recommend Efren, especially if you live in the Southeast Los Angeles area (Downey and South Gate communities). It's great to have quality professionals like Efren nearby.

Installed outlets. Went underhouse to wire and cleaned up everything all in a timely manner.

Oveall I give Efran an "A" for an overall rating. Since I am a property manager and a professional real estate investor, it is very difficult to find licensed/bonded independent workers that would do an excellent job for the minimum price. I understand independent contractors have to charge for their experience and knowledge but finding an ELECTRICIAN that charges a good price is "PRICELESS!" + Efran provided a free estimate, others wanted to charge an estimate fee + Efran was punctual for the estimate on time + Efran had good listening skills and was able to communcate the problem and solution + Efran provided a FREE WRITTEN ESTIMATE, others dont want to waist paper + When calling Efran, Efran called back withing a few hours, this was on the week end to confirm the job. + He confirmed Project and was punctual arriving on the site +Very professional and curteous with the Tenants/Residents understanding their time was valuable + Finished and cleaned up after himself. Saved the items changed and explained the depriefed the work completed. +Provided a final receipt with details of the work completed with his home address. (Rare with other contractors) + Project with Smooth and fast, Tenants were happy because it was done quickly and professionally. + I asked him to work for me again with other electrical projects on other properties I manage and own.
