"We were just wondering why you gave us a C rating. We responded to your request for a service call the same day. You only provided us with an email to contact you and we responded that same day. You called us back the next day and told us you got it running yourself and did not need us to come out. How can you give us a C rating when you did not even use our services?"
They were always on time and courteous, and did everything they said they would do. The only dissappointment was with the initial quality of work performed (again - they were happy to correct it to make sure I was happy).
Also, getting the permit signed off by the City is a pain, but this is not the fault of the contractor - messed up CA regulations in my opinion.
It's going good again. The company called and explained that I had fallen through the cracks in their system. They are coming over to assess the situation and go from there. I probably should have called them when no one came back after three weeks.
"The member was contacted via telephone the same day of his posted complaint to Angie’s list. The next day Dependable sent out one of their installers to see what could be done to correct the two concerns that were mentioned. First, Dependable repaired the furnace not being completely level. Regarding the other concern, the member expressed his desire to have the duct work above his furnace rerouted to a different location. This was never discussed with the member at the time the work was estimated or during the installation. This metal ductwork in the garage has been installed and functioning without problems for the 30 year life of the home. In good faith we offered to reroute the ducting in the garage to his satisfaction at the cost or our labor and material only. The member expressed that he appreciated our offer but he realized it was something that he was not willing to spend money on.
