Michael Sherman Landscaping

He scheduled my work for a couple weeks in the future, which was fine for me. The impact sprinklers were either adjusted or replaced as needed. The leaks around the valves were all fixed. He also planted in excess of 30 acacia plants on my east slope in the backyard. All the work has held up nicely. I'm planning to ask him about another project I have in mind.

I called Michael after a previous landscaper that I used on Angie's list disappeared on me halfway through my back yard landscaping  project. Michael is a really nice guy. He came out the next day to see what was needed. He gave me some really wonderful ideas on my garden area that was newly built and was to be my vegetable garden. He suggested a drip irrigation system for my vegetable plants. He also corrected and replaced a broken pipe in my back lawn that the last person had left. He graded and roto tilled the lawn. He placed compost down and a fertilizer before planting sod. He set up shrub emitters in my planter so that I could have them run on a timer.He came across to me as very knowledgeable and a good listener. 
It took him one weekend to prep the backyard as there was only dirt there. Sprinklers were already placed, but he adjusted a few for better coverage and added an extra sprinkler head. He also showed me how to set the automatic timer. 
I had to wait until the following weekend for him to place the sod, as he only works on weekends. (for large projects). He came up short on the estimated square footage of my lawn , but was quick to search for extra sod so that the whole job would be completed that day. He did not charge me for the extra sod. 
He came out during the week to install my garden drip emitters and showed me how to use them. He rechecked the sprinklers to make sure that the lawn was getting enough coverage.
A couple of weeks later, I purchased plants for the planter area and he came out and planted them for me. (That was by the hour cost and not included in the price shown above). 
He is a wonderful landscaper, just don't be in a hurry, as Michael usually only works on Saturday and Sundays. He did not tell me this ahead of time when he gave me his proposal. That was disappointing, but I figured if I waited all winter long for the sod I wanted, I could wait a couple more weekends to have it completed.
I am trying to get him to plant a couple of more plants in my planter and recheck the sprinklers where the grass is turning brown. I'm concerned that the sprinklers are not reaching certain areas. I realize they can plug up with dirt. I realize that he would charge by the hour if he does the job. 

All went smoothly. They were smooth, professional, fairly good price and reasonably punctual.
