The house floors continued to squeak and not leveled so I called Don Bradford, owner, back and he came out but not only did he not level the floor, the squeaks remain and in his punching thru the floors the brand new carpet padding is bunched up so the carpeting has bumps in it. The 2 brand new doors either squeak, rub against frame when closing, screws missing from the brackets, paint was left on the hardware, paint drippings on door and ruff bottom where paint was not smoothed out plus the 1 door shuts on its own. The floor transition piece was removed, however, never would stay down even after he attempted to glue it. The other 3 doors had screws missing with 1 door still not closing properly having to give it a big slam which since it's my guest bath anyone entering isn't aware the door doesn't shur. The last time I saw him was 10/2/13 even though I 've called, left my business card at the business front door and no response I sent him a registered letter on December 9, received a call stating they were only available after hours 5pm and wouldn't come out on the weekends as stated that was their time - guess they don't care to keep their customers happy. Because it was nearing the holiday, it was agreed that I would be called and rescheduled for the 1st week of January, 2014. It is now 2/4/14 and nothing. I have requested some refund as I paid a handyman to secure the floor transition piece, add the necessary door screws, touch up paint, and repair the carpet next to the transition piece as well as the walls where the old frames were. And the remaining items remain unfixed. I know other homeowners in our community having had Arbor do their floor leveling have had to hire another person as Arbor could/would not fix.. In fact their licensed general contractor had a go around with Don Bradford showing him exactly what was wrong with his work and floor but I understand excuses were only given. I have written another letter but I'm sure there will be no further correcting of the work done and frankly I don't want Arbor back in my home.
Description of Work: Leveled house, installed brand new prehung doors, painted them. aligned 3 other doors. Timmed down small wall so refrigerator would fit.
