Sharon Stone - Unlicensed Contractor

This person came to me through Angis list so I thought I could trust them. Throughout her work she preached religion to me, and kept telling me that we all need Jesus. She talks about peace and love quite often, and mixes that in with things that are hard to understand. Her text communications are rambling and hard to comprehend. She quoted me 150 dollars for the job. Then she was unable to do the job correctly, and had to come out repeatly. Her and I agreed this would be a temporarily fix and she said we needed to dig up the cement to redo the whole system to do it right. She said that would take two to three days, at about 800 dollars a day, which suggests 16 hundred dollars or more. I told her we will do the cheap version for now and when I am ready we could do it correctly. She never informed me of increasing costs, and in fact, when I told her I could not pay for all the hours, she said *I do not mind not getting paid for all the hours** Afterwards, I offered her 400 dollars, which is more than double her quote. 300 for double her original quote, plus another hundred for the small parts she used. I asked her to email me because texts were not working for me, and she continued to text anyway. She wanted to meet with me and try to get me to sign papers, refusing to tell me ahead of time the amount she wanted. Finally she dropped paperwork at my house, and when I looked at it I was appalled that she wants to charge me 1500 dollars! If I were going to pay that much, I would have done it correctly in the first place by digging up the cement. She keeps talking about peace and love, and saying to make a peaceful world I have to pay her this amount. That we all need Jesus. I will exhaust every possible means and will not be paying her more than 400 dollars unless ordered to do so by a judge. I have her insane messages and highly doubt a judge would ordered that paid. She is very dishonest and manipulative. I would strongly suggest not hiring her unless you want her to preach her religion to you and rip you off. She will not even give me an address to pay her, via Venmo, PayPal or regular mail. So I cannot pay her anything at this time.

Sharon Stone and Rudy are superb handypersons. We had several tasks that got beyond our health to do, and she completed them all for us seemingly immediately, and did a perfect job on them all. There's nothing she isn't able to do! I cannot say enough good things about her qualifications, skills, work ethic, cleanliness and friendly, warm personality. She seems to view her work not as a chore to be done, but as friends to be helped, and this quality as well as her excellent work makes her stand out in the often impersonal Handyperson profession. Sharon cares about her work and the satisfaction of her customers in its quality. Whatever needs doing at our home, she is the "handy-ma'am" we will call!

We misfired on connecting a couple of times due to her schedule, but once she came she did the job and did it right - going the extra mile without asking for an increase in her quoted price. She also gave a discount on the service due to her initially not being able to make the original inspection date. If you can be flexible in your schedule her service will be worth it.

This depends on type of work to be perform, YES a good handyman for various type of work in and about the house.

Sharon knows her stuff and is easy to work with.

Sharon fixed the problem. If you hire her be prepared for a lot of chatting and she definitely takes her time. However, she did fix the problem and her fee was very reasonable.

She was one of the most honest , knowleable , patient and kind person I ever met.

she stood me up and didn't return my two phone calls until a week later. I had been sick so I had not hired anyone so when she called and assured me she would be at my home, I took another chance. it took her one hour because she talks and talks and talks. The task was done in ten minutes but her stories never stopped. I think she is very lonely.

She is a nice person but was late, used leftover materials, and had to hire someone else to fix the texturing she did for me.

Sharon was friendly and wanted to be helpful but only showed up to work every now and then when she didn't have other personal things to do. She always came later than expected and the job was taking too long in my opinion.

We agreed that the contractor would remove old tile and replace with wood flooring I provided and finish with wood trim to match. Instead of removing the tile, the contractor put the wood floor over the broken tile and put large screws into the expensive oak floor to secure it. The side of the wood was not finished with trim and the job looked very unprofessional. I now have to go back, and have more work to remove the wood floor before removing the tile and doing the job correctly.

She ended up doing multiple jobs for us. She takes her time but she does a very good job. Clean-up could have been a little better.

Sharon did a fantastic job of fixing my door from very-hard-to-move into moving with a flick of the finger. I had visualized having to have the entire door replaced. And the key works wonderfully now too. Great job. And such a pleasant personality. And yes, there wasn't any evidence that we had just worked on the door - was clean as a whistle!

She does her own personal amount of work, and adds her pesonal touch. She does more than the average professional ane cleans up nicely.
