AMAZING!!!!!! I called Tom on a Sunday morning (yes on a Sunday), he answered the phone in person and I explained the problem with the TV. The TV is a 15yr old big screen that was was not turning on even after I reset the TV. He stated no problem, and could respond today (Sunday) between 12 and 2pm to take a look. He explained the service call would be $95.00 and stated it would be applied to any parts/service it may need. He responded ON TIME, HAD the computer part to reapir the TV on his truck and was gone in 20 min. No extra charge for responding on a Sunday, and NO "extras" were added to my bill. I paid the price of the computer part, he installed it and fixed it in record time. This is the second time in 3 years (different problem 3yrs ago, with the same EXCELLENT service) I have used his service. I would HIGHLY recommend tom to anyone that is in need of a TV repair service. He does it the old fashioned way- Fixed right and quickly the first time. AMAZING customer service, repair and knowledge.

He was a little challenged in dismantling the back of the tv set, but I chalked that up to such a large variety of sets on the market. He accidentally bent one of the contact points on the new power board, so it would not work. He diagnosed the accident, fixed it, and the tv works perfectly now!! I consider him to be a quality service person. Actually 2 tv sets died at the same time! The repaired one originally cost about $1,000 a few years ago, and the repair ran $295. I replaced the other set with a brand new one of comparable size, but it included the awesome Smart TV feature (WiFi bluetooth connectivity for web surfing, movie and tv show streaming, etc.). And the new and improved set at WalMart was only $340! I have 2 other tvs, and will check on cost of new replacement Smart sets, before I pay for a repair again.

Working with Tom was a wonderful experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was set up correctly. (quite literally out of his way since he had to go to the hardware store to pick up new screws for the wall mounting). For all the time Tom spent with me (not to mention the use of his Costco card) the fee he changed was a sweet deal!

I called Tom at Par TV on Thursday (8/8/13) and he said that the recycling and purple dots was a common problem with that era of Samsung LCD TV's and was related to capacitors going bad on the power supply board. He agreed to come out to Cameron Park from Davis on Friday (8/9/2013) even though his website said that Par TV's service area only extended to El Dorado Hills. He agreed to show up between 12 noon and 2 PM. He showed up at 1:20 PM and he and I removed the 40 inch LCD flat screen off the wall and set it on the couch. He proceeded to remove the rear backing and promptly identified the bad (bulging) capacitors on the power supply board. He then quoted me the repair cost, which included his travel time to and from Davis. I agreed to the price quote and he promptly removed the Power supply board and took it down to his van in my driveway and proceeded to replace the faulty capacitors in his mobile workshop. He was back in 20 minutes and replaced the board, checking it for functionality before replacing the TV backside cover. He then helped me get the TV back on the wall mount bracket and properly hook up the myriad of HDMI, composite and RCA audio plugs prior to presenting the bill. We were finished in an hour from the time he first arrived. All in all, a very satisfying experience. Tom and Par TV are to be complimented and I would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing problems with a Samsung high-definition, large screen LCD TV.

He was very thorough and informative. He provided options for correction and did what he said he would do. I would definately call again if I have television issues.

We are very pleased with the promptness and that Tom was prepared with the service part.

I was very surprised that they would make a service call on Super Bowl Sunday. Prior to the visit we researched what the problem might be and were pleased to find that they discovered the same problem. This made me trust their judgement and integrity. I would use their service again. We are currently saving for a new television, since the old one is not worth the price to repair.

The technician promptly answered his phone and listened to our problem. He advised us that it sounded like a bad motherboard and that he could definitely fix it, but advised us to call Vizio for repair or replacement as the unit is still under warranty. We appreciated his honesty and courtesy.

Excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future issues. I like the idea that he comes to your house as opposed to having to take the TV to his shop.

The technician came out on a Saturday afternoon, the same day I called him. He identified the damaged part and ordered a replacement. He came back two days later to install the new part. Everything works normally now.

It was a very good experience the part for the T.V. was ordered and the set was repaired on the second visit.

Tom was on time and fix the problelm quickly.

I contacted PAR TV Service because my 3-year-old television over the course of a month started to develop a very loud and continuous humming sound. The televisions image was not affected, the sound emitting from the television was unbearable. Tom Sobhani was very cordial over the phone and scheduled a same day appointment. Tom?s TV diagnostic price was $98 which would be rolled up into the TV Repair if required. Tom arrived on time and with enthusiasm. It took Tom a few minutes to identify the ailment. He explained what was the cause and how to resolve it. He quoted me $300 out the door for the service call, repair part and instillation. It sounded reasonable to me because the TV was out of warranty and it would cost more than $300 to by a new 60 inch TV. It took Tom less than an hour to make the repair. My TV is working great and zero noise is emitting from the TV. Tom was very grateful for the opportunity and I have passes along his card to several friends.

Visual only check of 52" flat screen LCD TV that was showing ghost second images. Tech asked questions but never opened set or ran any diagnostics. He said it was unrepairable and left after 10-15 minutes, all for $100. I'm having another tech take it for repair at no charge unless he is able to fix the problem. If he can't then he'll give me $100 for the parts. At least it will cover what I paid to PAR TV Service and at the most I'll get it fixed at what I expect will be a fair price.

Sevice was prompt and effective and much less expensive than replacement

I called and he was here within 45 minutes, after 5 o-clock. He did a good job.

Tom drove out to my house on a Saturday and fixed my TV on site. He was punctual, professional, and informative. He knows his stuff. Excellent servce. Excellent experience. Highly recommended.

We called and they came out the same day. He assessed the problem and ordered a part right from our house. The part took longer to come in they we thought. He did come the day the part arrived to fix the TV. He was courteous and prompt. It was actually less expensive they we thought. We would definitely use them again.
