North Pacific Plumbing came to give us an estimate in advance and then ordered and installed a new water heater. At both visits we received superb and expert service and advice.

One of Brent's plumbers came by appointment right on time, even early a bit, and immediately looked at the disposal after listening to our description. He was friendly and listened carefully to our issue. He simply twisted the disposal firmly and it appeared to lock into place firmly. He was there about 15 minutes and I could tell he felt awkward charging the normal fee for such a quick solution. He said he was going to call his boss to check on what to charge. I had my checkbook ready when he came back from his truck and he said, "put away your checkbook, there is no charge." He could have fairly charged the normal fee, but didn't and I consider that a good way to earn future business with us and our family and friends in the area. No wonder this firm is so well regarded in Davis.

Brent, the owner came to view the project. He suggested an improvement in the existing plumbing layout. His bid was competitive with others and we like to support local business people. One of Brent's employees, Preston, did the work. We were given wise advice by Preston, about not reusing the existing valves. We had to find replacements to fit the handles, which caused a short delay. I think the project turned out to be more complicated than first appeared. Preston got it all figured out and we were very happy with the job.

I was having difficulties to find a gas oven range for my small kitchen as the gas valve/pipe was sticking out about a few inches from the wall. I decided to have someone work on the gas pipeline/valve and installed recessed box with gas valve. I communicated with the owner, Brent, who was very responsive, and professional. The contractor Preston arrived on time, explained how he would work on it, and what information he needed to install it successfully for a new oven. He cut the dry wall, installed the box with gas valve, put the wall back, and patched it. When the job is done, he cleaned it up, and relight pilot on water tank. I'm satisfied with the service. I'll hire them again.

I contacted North Pacific Plumbing due to extremely poor water pressure in my kitchen sink faucet. Brent responded promptly to my inquiry, asked several questions to better assess the problem, explained his pricing policy, and scheduled a service call. Brent arrived at the scheduled time and did a thorough inspection of the kitchen plumbing, explaining exactly what he was doing and showing me what he was finding every step of the way. He was highly knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant and professional. Brent determined that I needed a new faucet. He gave me tips on specific features to look for, and said that when I found a model I liked, I could e-mail the specs to him and he would review and give me his opinion on its suitability, which I did. Brent's technician, Stephen, came to install my new faucet. Like Brent, he was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional, and he completed the job quickly. I was impressed with every aspect of my interactions with North Pacific Plumbing, and I will definitely use them in the future.

He found the problem in a timely manner and replaced the part. It did not take him long. I had concerns because the water leek was coming from different parts on the kitchen area but he was able to fix the problem.

They've been great. I called again because it turned out that the water softener was leaking and had soaked the wall before I noticed it and all of that involved was identifying the problem and turning this thing off but I never would have figured that out and he didn't charge me anything for that. He came out personally both times and he is very informative, personable, explained what the problem is and what he's going to do. I haven't had any tough problems afterwards with the work that he had done. He was recommended to me by a couple of neighbors and I've given his name out to some friends of mine too, I think very highly of him.

Arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem. Turned off City water at curb, then made a quick trip to hardware store for the piece my very old shower head needed. Replaced stem, turned City water back on, checked that everything was okay and went on his way.

Brent is fabulous. First of all, he was the only plumber that actually crawled under the house when he came to give us a quote. He spent a lot of extra time explaining everything beforehand and on the day of the work. He did a great job and was right there when the city inspector arrived the next day. We're doing a full kitchen remodel so he'll be back to install the new sink, faucets, dishwasher, etc. when we're ready. He was also very happy to help with my and quot;honey doand quot; list of unrelated plumbing items around the house. He's going to fix all that stuff when he comes back to do the finish work. By the way, his quote was half that of Home Depot's! He also paid the city inspection fees.

Brent was a great help. He diagnosed and fixed a leak and also installed
an RO system. He encountered a few unexpected problems (not of his own
making), which meant he had to return another day to finish the job. I found him to be
very capable, patient. and pleasant throughout his work. He also
returned calls/e-mails.

I have used North Pacific Plumbing service since 2009 at my home and office with consistent satisfaction. Brent started working for me during an office remodel and continued with misc. upgrades and repairs at my office and home. When I had a minor problem on a toilet his helper had reset, Brent came in immediately. fixed the problem and didn't charge me. Brent and his helper were very pleasant, prompt and reliable.
