+ -1 moreThey are very good, I would take any car in there for anything. They go out of the way to accommodate you. They'll bring you home and then come and get you if you need rides back and forth, if you need to leave your car there. They tell you that you probably will need something within a certain length of time, they don't necessarily say you have to have it done right now. They'll say something is wearing and you're probably gonna need this in the next 6 months. They are family owned and they're just very nice.
Description of Work: The motor mounts had come loose, and they did that.

+ -1 moreThese guys are great! Hoffman recommended what needed to be done immediately in the essence of safety. Other items were suggested (which I knew of), but we did the urgent issues within a couple hours. Also provides discounted rental car rates through Enterprise who will pick you up and drop you off. If you want piece of mind and don't want to pay dealer prices, go to Hoffman.
Description of Work: I took my Jeep in with a vibration in the front. I had a good idea of what was needed and was hoping that Hoffman would only quote what needed to be done. They replaced the front control arms for the Jeep Patriot. Too bad I can't put a review on here for Jeep.

Description of Work: As I described a shaking of the steering at higher speed, Rick Hoffman suggested that this is a symptom of tire imbalance or wear. They performed a tire rotation and balancing and road tested it. In addition they took note of several things that might need looking into such as a rattle at the exhaust shield, minor oil leak, ABS light always on, and worn struts. This was a small visit for this older car and I've been taking it to Hoffman for 4 years now. Always they have my repair history on the computer and a knowledgeable ear for my list of symptoms. Never do they perform a repair without consultation and always the price is reasonable. In one case where the minor repairs were effected on behalf of someone who had hit me, they gave the guy a discount for being so honest and straightforward about the accident!! No charge to me of course. Even more: I called them from the road once recently and asked about a hesitation problem. Rick, with my history pulled up on his computer, suggested a worn key as the source; 'use the valet key instead' he suggested. We spent 10 minutes on the phone with me, no charge. it was like calling Tom and Ray on Cartalk!

+ -1 moreThey are excellent; I have known them for maybe twenty years and they have always had a good reputation. They have worked on my car and my daughter's car. They are honest, reliable and hardworking. They know what they are doing and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody. When I went to get the breaks changed I wanted both the breaks replaced, but, they said that they would just change the front break because the other one is fine. I really expect that kind of honesty from them and was very pleased with that.
Description of Work: I use them for my auto service. I had breaks put on my ten years old Ford on the last visit.
