Services we offer

I offer complete exhaust system services on passenger cars and light trucks and vans. This includes catalytic converter replacement as well as custom exhaust systems built from the ground up. I also install tow packages and trailer wiring service. These range from light duty bumper style receivers to heavy duty gooseneck hitches. Small welding projects are welcome.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving I was driving home from Davis to Sacramento with my kids when my car started making a horrible noise, and shortly thereafter discovered that someone had tried, unsuccessfully, to steal my catalytic converter which was hanging on by a thread. I called Davis Muffler & Hitch (a one-person operation located within Hoffmann Auto on 2nd Street) and explained what had happened and did they have time to work on it? Jay told me to come right over & took my car in immediately, and welded it right then and there. Got me and my hungry kids out in 15 minutes (faster than his estimate) at a very reasonable price, and was super pleasant. Excellent service all around.

The people there were very nice to me. I thought that I needed a new muffler or something, but by just cleaning out the system they saved me money. Thy all made me feel very comfortable and interacted with me on a personable level.
