I was rear-ended in a parking lot. The collision broke one of the tail and back up lamps and dented the bumper. One estimate I obtained from a different body shop estimated the repair cost at about $1000, which included used lamps and a new bumper. The owner of that body shop told me he could try to fix the bumper, but it wouldn't look good in the end. Brian, the owner of A-1 Body Shop, thought the damage could be repaired. He suggested that he should try to fix the bumper, and if I was not happy with the result, he would replace it and prorate the labor cost. He then gave me two estimates, one with and one without the bumper replacement. I opted for repair of the bumper. When I picked up the car, I was amazed how well the whole repair job looked! In addition, my car had been washed, a courtesy service I had not expected. And an even bigger surprise was that the whole repair bill ended up costing less than Brian's original estimate! As other reviewers on YELP found, Brian is not only very skilled and professional, he is also very honest.

Their price is competitive and fair. They are very upfront with what the charges would be and they won't be any surprises. There is not like high pressure sales or things like that going on, which is good. The quality of the work is very good and their professionalism is very good too.

They were relatively quick with there service as I thought it would've taken longer. My roommate had some work done by them as well as that is where I had gotten the referral from. There prices were also reasonable compared to other quotes I had.
