First Choice Abbey Carpet

The original pad installed was defective throughout the house. As a result we had to have the entire job redone, with new pad replacing the defective pad. The manufacturer of the pad took responsibility, but throughout the process First Abbey made it as they we had put them out and were somehow being difficult customers. The 2nd install required that we stay home from work for another two days and despite repeated promises they would make our reinstall a top priority and finish quickly, instead they took as long as the first time and actually sent a smaller crew to do the job a second time around. We later learned from a 2rd carpet install company that the second pad had been incorrectly installed! We've had to threaten litigation and still the company is totally unresponsive in fixing its errors. While they were very price competitive, in the end you get what you pay for and we would never recommend working with this company.

I wasn't there but they were professional on the phone. The price was fair, but I haven't seen the work. I think they did a good job.

GOOD, PROMPT, KEPT IN TOUCH AND JOB DONE WELL. INSTALLERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE. MINOR PROBLEMS WERE HANDLED VERY EFFICIENTLY AND TO MY SATISFACTION. I WAS GENERALLY QUITE PLEASED.

WE WORKED WITH VAL WHO WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPED US PICKING OUT THE RIGHT COMBINATION OF WOOD AND BOARDER. I HAD TO MAKE A FOLLOWUP PHONE CALL TO TALK WITH THE CONTRACTOR AND SHE ARRANGED FOR THAT TO HAPPEN. IT ALL WORKED OUT VERY WELL.
