We called John to help us with repair work after mold damage, when our insurance company's preferred contractor became impossible to work with. He was recommended to us by another contractor we worked with and trusted.
John dropped what he was doing and came right out to look at the job and give us an estimate. His estimate was fair, and his work was great quality. Whenever there were questions about the best way to proceed with the repair, he explained the options clearly. He went the extra mile for us and made sure the repair was done properly so that we won't have to worry about it in the future.
We were very impressed with John's integrity and character. He was great to work with.

I felt like I was overcharged for the work that they did. There were things I asked from them that I didn't get. I wouldn't recommend them.

Contractor removed existing flooring, and installed new flooring. The installation was very shoddy, and primarily caused by unskilled workers with little or no supervision. Edges and corners are standing proud, chips have been knocked off the planks. In many cases, the flooring does not extend under the baseboards.

All of these things occurred and we complained, but the contractor said that the chipping was caused by improper storage of the material at Home Depot. We had the manufacturer of the flooring come out to verify that the installation was substandard, and the fault of the contractor.

John is someone you can show a "problem" to and not have to worry- he will have a solution. He's thorough in the estimates and though not always the least expensive, his cost is competitive with others.

John was incredibly responsive and flexible. The previous tenant was a soft eviction and was long overdue in getting their things out. The time to turn the property before the new tenant move-in was running out and John and his crew ended up having to complete the job while working around the previous tenant. His showed a lot of poise in helping me deal with a very difficult situation. When finished, the job done was very good. He was also very thorough. He caught and fixed a few things that I missed when we both walked it the first time. The price was more than I expected, but fair and appropriate considering the expanded scope of the work from the first walk.
