John Phillips does what he tells you he will do, how much it will cost and then does it. He is both licensed and insured. Having had bad experiences with other contractors, this is such a refreshing experience. He shows up every day and works diligently, keeping you informed on progress/problems. He does the work himself (no strangers showing up) unless he needs another hand or two. Work was completed when expected and within estimate. My only hesitation in recommending John is that he might be harder to schedule for my own projects. We love our finished new space and love working with John Phillips.
