 + -1 moreWe have bamboo floors and they had to come through the front and over these floors. Bamboo compresses, leaving track marks, Al and his crew put down blankets and then press board to distribute the weight, protecting the floors. Wonderful. They spent the entire day, till after 7PM to get the install done and finished. We had cabinets built to contain the fridge and freezer units, they got them installed perfectly flush with the cabinets. It was a really hard job and they did it perfectly! Once installed, they test everything. We gave them and extra $400 (the quote was $1,600) because they stayed extra hours to finish the job in one day. We are just elated with the work they did.
Description of Work: High End Appliance Installs!!! Al and his crew did the moving (up 2 flights of stairs taking EXTREME care with our floors), install (hookups, leveling, testing, etc.) and everything else necessary to get high end kitchen appliances up and running. We bought Thermador built-in fridge and freezer, a 30" gas cook top, a pro line electric oven, and a dishwasher. My contractor looked terrified when I sked him to do the install, after reading the installation isntrucitons for the fridge I understood why. These things take an engineer; my husband and I are both super-techies and we just backed away at the thought of doing this stuff. We got Al's (Quitanilla) name from the appliance dealer we bought our appliances from. He and his crew have been doing high end moving and appliance installs for about 30 years. This is a local, family owned business.
