After trying the experiments, the clothes still wasn't drying thoroughly enough. It was quite odd that the dryer would heat-up, but not hot enough to dry even one damp towel. I called Primer Appliance to follow-up but did not get a call back. In the meantime, a friend came over and opened up the dryer to look. He did not find anything peculiar. However, the dryer exhaust was hooked back up and it now seems to work fine. Although Primer Appliance did not fix the dryer, I would call them back if I had any problems as I felt the repairman was knowledgable and trustworthy.

We noticed near the end of December that our refrigerator started making an odd buzzing noise on occasion. On New Years Eve, we noticed the noise was happening much more frequently and the temperature in our fridge started going up. We made several calls on New Years Day and, through a recommendation via Noel Appliance, got in touch with John. He actually called us back on January 1st, and, although he wasn't working that day, gave us a pretty good idea of what our problem might be, and scheduled an appointment to come out the next morning. The next day he came out (right when he said he would), checked out our fridge, and determined that our compressor was shot. (Not just the relay as we had originally hoped.) He told us that the cost to replace the compressor on our fridge would cost nearly as much with parts and labor as it would to buy a new fridge, so we decided to head on over to Lowe's and not go ahead with the repair, and he charged us $45 for the visit.
