Phil and his crew did an amazing job but beyond that they were very honest! They did not try to charge me more or try to make the job bigger than it was. I appreciate that so much since everyone else I contacted (not on angiâ s) tried to turn this into major and expensive job! Phil is honest and does excellent work! I am very proud to give the 5 stars and I recommend them to anyone who needs quality hardwood floors installed or repaired. Thank you!

Phil and his crew rearranged their current jobs to ensure that our floors were refinished in time to get the painting done before our move-in date. We also asked them to remove all the baseboards and quarter round - which was good thing because then we could see how poorly the flooring had been installed (NOT by Oak Wood Floors! looks like the previous owner did a self-install). The solid maple flooring was cupped and the seams between boards was badly spaced. When Phil's team finished, all the cupping was gone an d the spacing looked so much better. Now, the floors look fabulous! Highly recommend them.

Phil and his team are fantastic! He got right to work and is completing the job in a timely, efficient manner. He has explained all the steps along the way of replacing some of our old wood flooring that was squeaking very loudly. Now, the floor is more solid than ever, and it looks great!

Finished the project on time as promised. Removed 30 year old carpets, repaired and finished hardwood floors underneath. He found some damaged wood after removing the carpet but added a reasonable extra charge for new pieces of wood. The final price was not way off. Hauling and dumping of old carpets are included in his price.

Oak Wood Floors did a great job repairing and restoring my antique white oak floors! I probably should give 5 stars! I should have requested they sand an area that was scratched but I didn't think of it at the time. So I recommend Oak wood floors to anyone for very good quality work and great value!

Phil did a great job and kept the area clean throughout the project. He also customized the stain color for me and the rooms turned out great. Will definitely use him again!

They were responsive and stuck to the schedule. They left a scratch in my other floor from improper protect that they didn't tell me about, but it wasn't significant. It should have been mentioned though.

Phil installed replacement wood flooring that had been removed due to water damage in a part of the living room, then sanded the entire room so all would match, and then varnished it all. It looks lovely, He was prompt and courteous, a pleasure to work with. He takes pride in his work, and so do I take pride in his work.

Phil at Oak Wood Floors did a great job refinishing our floors. It was pretty tough to get the color we wanted but Phil kept going until it was right. His price was very reasonable and our floors look great!

The work took a few days longer than quoted. The plaster on the ceiling under the floor cracked and has now fallen on the living room. Who is responsible for the fix?

Oak Wood Floors/Phil did great work refinishing my 60 year old floors, they look almost new!. He came to inspect flooring, listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions, then provided a good contract in writing. .I asked him to protect some areas from dust and they promptly covered and protected.those areas. Phil pays attention to details and all requests, taking time to do an excellent job. Will probably use Phil again in future to do rest of my floors (when I have energy to move furniture from other rooms).

Phil of Oak Wood Floors did a great job installing our new flooring. He came to the house to provide an estimate and again to inspect the subfloor prior to installation. In addition, Phil answered our many questions while we were trying to select the flooring. We also asked Phil to install new baseboards throughout the house, not just in the install area, and they did a great job. In addition, even though we removed the carpet and pad, Phil returned after completing the work and took everything to the dump for us. Great job and great service! Thanks Phil!

Phil at Oak Wood floors did an excellent job of putting down a new oak floor in my dining room. The job was meticulously done, and I am very pleased with the results.

They were terrific. Our floors look incredible, they were on-time, courteous and did fabulous work!

The floors came out great - they look beautiful. The price was very reasonable and they did the job within my time frame on fairly short notice. My only complaint was that they did not seem to clean up afterward as much as they could have. We had them do the work before we moved in so were able to take a day cleaning up all the dust before we moved our furniture in. Although we still found spots on the walls that we missed for months afterward! If you are already living where you are refinishing your floors you might want to spend a little more on one of the services that has the air filters built into their sanders.

Oakwood floors was very detailed in the estimate, as to what needed to be done. There were no surprise charges that araised when floor was being worked on. The floor looks great, and the color is just what wanted. My husband and I are very pleased with the work of Oakwood floors. Thank you, Lisa & Mario Lira
