Quality work, very polite and professional. I initially had some minor problems with the new lock and when I called him he came out immediately to fix them.

He came when he said he would and worked efficiently.

Wonderful. He was very punctual, did a great job, and explained everything he was doing. He freely gave his opinion on various locks but I never felt pressured to buy more than I wanted or like he was trying to upsell me.

The owner , Daneil,  of Lock Genius was out of town but sent an affiiate ( who didn't work directly with him) over right away to assess our issue with door handle that would not work. The owner, Daniel was the nicest and most hard-working person I have probably ever dealt with for service/maintenance issues with our property or home. His affiliate charged $74 to assess issue and I waited a couple weeks for a call back to hear about what parts had been ordered and for a replacement but when I did not hear back I called Daniel and he went to work on it right away - the part was hard to obtain and he called may people to try to find a part but when he could not he figured out a way to use another part to work instead saving us  quite a bit of $ (replacement of door handle would have been $500-600 but in the end parts and labor by Daniel were only $174 more.) He even took a look at some othr things in our loft unit we were concerned about unrelated to the door/lock.  He was always so eager to help , kind and responsive by phone. I woudl highly recommend Daniel to anyone!

He was wonderful! He really cared about the aesthetics as well as the effectiveness. We were so pleased. He responded quickly, finished work in one day, and kept everything tidy.

Daniel was a pleasure.  Prompt, accommodating, warm, gracious.  Explained everything that needed to be done and the costs. Had to make an extra trip to get a properly fitting lock and came back in 20 minutes.

Daniel was very efficient and outlined what he would do. After he assessed the work, we had a quick sit-down talk to discuss the cost of doing it one way versus another way. I didn't want to replace the locks themselves and Daniel agreed that it wasn't necessary. He offered an additional keypad solution which we have used elsewhere but at this time we weren't ready to commit to that so it was dropped easy enough-no pressure! [In fact, someday we may consider it again and if we do, we'll call Daniel.]
After he re-keyed the existing lock mechanisms, he produced the 6 sets of keys and asked me to personally try each key in its appropriate lock, I did and they were all perfect.
He had a clever idea for the doorbell which was originally hard-wired. I suggested he might find the extra materials he needed at the nearby OSH so within minutes he was back with the new option. He made sure that I could hear the doorbell clearly from each room of the house and that I liked the tone selected. All went very well and now once again, I can hear, "Ding-d***" when someone is at the door from every room!
As we began to summarize the bill, Daniel mentioned how he had worked for a major construction company in the past and developed some expertise with windows. Wow; that spoke to me!! Without batting an eye Daniel followed me outside where I described a long-standing problem I've had of not getting the windows clean that face the west where very strong storms generate near-horizontal rain. Long ago a contractor had layer a near-permanent set of storm windows on top of the windows which meant if was nearly impossible (or so I thought) to clean the windows. Daniel took a look outside and inside then showed me exactly how to think of this challenging window and by taking it apart slowly, one piece at a time, I could get the windows clean for the first time in many years! He was very thorough, didn't rush me and gave me a nice education on the window issue more generally. We had all been distracted by the hulking frame, the hardware that contained the glass panes instead of trying to understand it without emoting all over the place (I include All of us in that description!). Daniel even encouraged me to call again if I wanted him to review that plan of attack if my husband or another helper didn't understand. That was very nice!
I was so impressed with Daniel's competency and willingness to take on even extra little jobs than he expected; it meant a lot. He was good to call a day ahead and then to call 30 minutes out as he promised. I felt very comfortable having him here unlike so many other workers for whom I can't say the same.
