VERY pleased with this service. John showed up on time (I was a bit late, but he was patient and very kind to wait). Our Tappan gas oven wasn't working well and it smelled funny. I was worried it was a gas leak. John found that the ignition switch was broken, and that the smell was most likely from oven cleaner. He let us know that you are not supposed to use over cleaner on our type of oven (rough surfaced - and a and quot;continuous cleaningand quot; type). He even wiped down the oven on the inside to help get rid of the smell. (Now that's service!!) He had the ignition part with him and he replaced it in about 10 minutes. He was certain to stay and check to see that all was working just right before he left. Absolutely spot-on, professional, quick service. John instilled the utmost confidence that the oven is now completely fine!

Bonus that the owner, who performed the work, was extremely professional and friendly. We will definitely use Lee's again for all our appliance repair needs in the future. Highly recommend!

I was impressed at John's thoroughness and professionalism.  I also liked that he explained things to me in an intelligible way. He told me that this problem is a rarely encountered one.    
I have yet to replace the defective circuit breaker, which will be the ultimate confirmation, but the dishwasher runs fine when plugged into a different outlet. This seems conclusive proof that he's right. I was impressed.

The dishwasher was flooding the kitchen when NOT in use. I determined that the problem was (probably) not in the plumbing, so called Lee's to look at the appliance. The problem wouldn't reproduce when he was here (of course). After some testing (making sure the control wasn't the culprit) we discussed the likely causes and decided to replace the inlet valve.  
The part had to be ordered. In less than a week it had arrived, a new appointment was made and the part replaced.

They were very good. The stove is an unusual brand. I called a couple of people and they said they never heard of it. Somebody recommended them to me. The girl who answered the phone said she didn't know if he knew anything about them but she would have him call me. Before he called me back, he called the manufacturer and got all of the information that he needed and then he said that he would be able to fix it. He was really good. I've never called anybody to fix a stove before. I would definitely use them again.

Our wall oven control unit failed.  It was under warranty, but over the course of a month both the manufacturer and the warranty company claimed the part was no longer available.  We found an online vendor that had the part.  On the basis of reviews here, we called Lee's Appliance to ask how much it would cost to install the part if we bought it.  John, the proprietor, suggested we let him check with his own suppliers to avoid us paying hundreds of dollars for a part that we couldn't return if it turned out not to fix the problem.  He called the next business day to report he had found the part, came on time this morning, installed it and stayed until he had seen the oven cycle through a series of on-off phases.  He charged us less for the part than the online vendor by a substantial amount, charged a very reasonable labor fee and ultimately enabled us to avoid laying out $2,000 for a new oven.

Based on reviews from Angie's List for this company, we called them in the morning, set up an appointment for the same day with a window from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  John arrived at 11:15.  He was very friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable.  Diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it, and went on to his next appointment.  We couldn't have been happier with the price, and having the oven back in working order.

John Lee is the owner and his wife is the receptionist. They are very nice people. The workmanship was fine. We've used them about three times. The price was very fair. I talked to his wife and he was here when she said he would be. We will certainly use them again.

I called them because my oven stopped heating up.  They scheduled a time when I would be home.  He came on time and were very quick and friendly.  It was also not very expensive to fix.  I would recommend him for oven repair.  I called them the next week when my refrigerator stopped working, but they don't work on those, so I found another good repair person.

Frankly, Lee's is worth waiting for.  We were getting significant electric shocks from our electric range while cooking.  We called Lee's first, and they were unable to come out until Wednesday (this was Friday!).  Grumbling, we scheduled with them anyway, but also scheduled someone else for Monday.  Well, the Monday guy couldn't find a problem, and charged us for nothing.  Then John showed up (early) on Wednesday, found the problem, gave us the info we needed, and fixed the problem.  Through it all, he was more than pleasant, professional, and left us feeling good about our stove being safe to use - and great about calling Lee's again for repair.  And best yet, no problems with the range since, so we didn't have to buy a new one!   If we have a problem, we will definitely call Lee's again, and we will probably ask for John!

They were very responsive and were able to come out within the day. They were good about keeping me informed about what was going on. They were very helpful and they made sure to do the job right. He looked everything over and told me that someone had repaired it incorrectly in the past and he was able to find the right parts, despite the fact that our stove is no longer being manufactured. I thought that the price was reasonable.

John was very professional. He really knew his stuff and made the repair fast. They originally didn't have time in the schedule but Stephanie called and was able to shoehorn me in. He came with the necessary part already in the truck. He fixed it, tested it, and cleaned up after himself.

From the moment I called to make an appointment, I felt very comfortable working with Lee's Appliance. John Lee, the owner of the company, arrived at exactly the time we arranged and he was very skillful in assessing and fixing the problem with the oven. He gave me other advice as well suggesting that I simply disengage the clock rather than try to fix it. After he replaced the starter, he ran a variety of tests and told me what I should look for when I used the oven. I am pleased to report that the oven works perfectly now, no more dips in temperature. I will definitely contact him again whenever another problem arises.

He came out and showed me that it was a simple fix and showed me how to clean it out on my own. He was extremely fair in his pricing. He was very nice. He came recommended from a great plumber.
