We have a number of fruit trees on our property so we have rodents in the area. Some found a way into our attic so we called On Point. Andrew arrived right on time and assessed our situation, performed a thorough inspection of our house, determined how the rodents got in and other ways that they could get in. He explained exactly what he was going to do, sealing up all possible entry ways, setting traps in attic to capture any rodents stuck inside, and explained what we could do to prevent them from getting in all on the same day. He returned in a couple of days to check the traps and removed the rodents in the traps and replaced them in case any were missed. All we have to do is call him if we have any further issues, but so far we haven't. We are very satisfied.

Two nights in a row I'd heard scratching sounds in my living room ceiling.  Then, a couple nights later - 2 nights before I was to leave for vacation - I was stunned to look out a front window and see 3 raccoons emerge from under the house!  I waited until they had left to forage, got a couple heavy pavers from the back yard, and put them on the ledge in front of the foundation vent, to block where the animals had exited through a broken screen.
When I returned from vacation I saw the raccoons had managed to leverage out the pavers!  Went to a home improvement store and bought the heaviest pavers they had.  Watched out the window that night, and when the raccoons emerged I lodged in the new pavers.  Also stuffed ammonia-soaked rags around the edges.
The next morning I went on Angie's List to find an exterminator.  After talking to 3, I decided to go with Andrew O'Brien, owner of On Point Exterminating.
Andrew and his employee came to the house, did a walk-around, looking at the foundation vents.  They are old, and the screening was pretty flimsy on some of them.
Andrew also went up on the roof, and took photos of 5 attic entrance points that had been made by rats or squirrels.  He also looked inside in the attic space from an interior trap door in the ceiling.  
He gave me a written estimate for $675, which included sealing the roof entry points; putting in new, sturdy screens on all 17 foundation vents; setting traps in the attic and foundation spaces; returning twice over a period of 2 weeks to check the traps; and a lifetime warranty on the work he would do.  (I might add that the foundation traps were not for raccoons - we were sure they had departed - but for any rodents that might have also gotten under the house.)
I had 2 choices of covers for the foundation vents.  I went with the metal grates, rather than more metal netting.  Andrew gave me 3 choices of colors, and I decided on the white, as he said it was the one of the 3 colors that could best be painted, if I decided I wanted it to match the house.
Andrew returned another day and spent 4 hours completing the work described in the estimate.  He returned twice to check the traps.  It's been great.  Although we still have wildlife in the neighborhood (I live by a large regional park), none of it is living in my house?.!
I should add that Andrew is very personable, and great to work with.  I also gained a LOT of general knowledge from him about dealing with various pests - insect and mammal.

I am writing this several months down the road as we were just talking about how we haven't had any problems since On Point Exterminating was here. Couldn't have asked for a more thorough, professional and fair priced company. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Awesome.  Very professional and diligent.  We receive the same work done exactly every 4 weeks.  On point does a great job of communicating potential dangers as well as educating the consumer on current conditions.  The employees we have worked with have been personable with regards to any other pest control issues we have had.  I.E. termite control and flea control.  We would highly recommend this company to any resident, local business or commercial properties.

It went very well. This company was a referral from Andy's Termites. I contacted On Point and the owner Andrew O'Brian came out. He was very upbeat and he quickly assessed the problem. It is very apparent that he enjoys his job. He quickly fixed the broken vents. He took the extra step of trying to match the paint color for the vent. The work was neat and professional. The rat problem is fixed and he has a lifetime warranty for his work.

1. I'm so glad I was referred to this company who did great work! They were the '2nd' opinion n estimate on 'how' to get rid of these pesty critters without having to tent the whole house n everything that it entails. They came, inspected the attic, under the house, garage and the entire outside.... found subterranean n drywood termites. Since I have pets, plants n food :), I was hoping not no have to tent. After a crash course on "termite 101", everything was done in a eco friendly manner....drilling and treating to get rid of those yuckie pests....hopefully the ant colonies will also disappear ......thanks Andrew and Robbie ! I'd recommend you to anyone who battles with these 'underground soldiers' :)
   

They were excellent. The owner was very hands on and thorough. I had no complaints at all. I have already referred them, and I have used them again.

Andrew was very professional. Did the job cleanly and efficiently. This review is coming one year later and the house is still rat-free. He went into the crawl spaces throughout the home and found points of entry for the rats and made sure to cover the holes. He went into the attic and crawl spaces and cleaned up the rat droppings and disinfected the areas as well.
