They're terrible people and no one should ever do business with them again ever. They're actually very nice people but they don't do a very good job. The level of rudeness - it was just the way that the professional relationship was allowed to dissolve, both by the people that booked the service and by the service provider. It developed into a really nasty situation.

The big picture is everything looks great. They did not adhere to the contract they signed. They duplicated a house key without permission. They decided to cut the wire for an actual light switch and then not install it, and they didn't even ask. In the contract it said that they were going to paint the new base boards and they did not, it was in the contract and they just ignored it. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Quality of all workers was great! Coordination between them could be better. All in all it got done in the time they said it would and we are very happy with our Nu kitchen! Be ready to do some project management yourself to keep things on track and get every detail possible in writing. These things are true no matter who you use.

Things went OK with Nu-Kitchens at the beginning.  We were very happy with Gus Sepulveda, the sales rep.  He is very honest and that overshadowed the rest of the organization.  We got a great deal on the entire remodel.  They were thousands less than other providers.
Then the work started and it all went terribly wrong.
Wrong kitchen cabinets were installed.  All work was stopped for two weeks until we yielded and went along with the new cabinets - we couldn't live without a kitchen any longer.
New master bath work didn't start on time due to the delivery on the whirlpool tub.  Plumber told us later that he only needed the dimensions of the tub - not the tub itself.  Lost another two weeks - no master bath.
Tile work was the only bright spot - impeccable floor work by Manuel.  We'll have him back.
New travertine was deeply scratched from dragging a toilet fixture across it. 
Utter lack of project management.  I had to call them everyday and build a project chart to ensure that things progressed on the job.  The three week project ended up taking months.
We're considering legal action.  I have spoken to the owner multiple times - Elias - and he is unwilling to fix the kitchen cabinets or repair anything that is damaged.  He had the nerve to ask for $1000 more at the end due to a lack of profit on the job.  We're glad to have them out of our house. 
Please, please, please - never use this provider!!!!  Learn from our mistake on this one.

Everything looked good and went smoothly until the remodel started.  There were dozens of issues.  A wall extension was crooked, improper electrical wiring, bathroom tiles were laid crooked, the countertop we were told was quartz was actually marble and was staining and scratching, and the finish work in general was substandard.  These are just a few items.  Ultimately it came down to a lawsuit to settle outstanding issues.  The judge ruled in our favor and awarded us the full dollar amount we were seeking in damages.  I believe the scope of the job was just too big for Nu Kitchens and that the project manager needed to be onsite more often then just once or twice per week.  If anybody has any questions or would like more details about the issues we had please feel free to contact me.
