Mike Killeen is the VERY BEST contractor of any kind that we have ever worked with in over 34 years of home ownership. He showed up on time for our initial appointment, was very congenial and professional, and gave us a folder with listings of well over 100 prior clients with their addresses and the type of roof they installed. We contacted several of them and only heard great comments. The listing was also a big help in picking out a roofing color as we used it to drive by houses in our area and see how different colors looked. His estimate was prepared and delivered in a timely manner. It was not the lowest or the highest estimate we got, but we trusted Mike and he certainly delivered. We had a thick shake roof which was a mess to take off, but his crew cleaned it up thoroughly. I don't think I could have done better myself and I am very picky. The first day they removed the old roof, put down all new wood sheeting, and covered it with tar paper. When they tore off the roof, they found some bad fascia wood that needed replaced and they painted it with primer before installing it which helped both the wood and us so we didn't need to immediately paint it. The following day, they completed the roofing job. They did additional things for us at very minimal cost, such as reworking an air conditioning duct that had been done crooked by someone else to begin with. I would recommend Mike to anyone. He, his crew and his work are unmatched in our experience. I wish everyone took lessons from him.

and so clean. Everything was cleaned up each day as they finished. The crew was almost invisible.
When they finished, Joe asked me to walk around the house and garage with him to see that everything
was as it should be. All in all, this company was a pleasure to work with.

Mike was great to work with and his crew worked well and fast. The entire job was completed in three days. We had a couple touch up issues after the job was over but Mike took care of them right away. He is definitely a class act and we would recommend him to anyone!

I have had many problems with the flat part of my roof leaking over the years (was part of an addition to the living room). This company was recommended by a neighbor and had a six month waiting list because of its good reputation. The owner gave me an estimate, and roof was repaired on 6/6/06. Crew was professional and cleaned up all traces of work. A few days later, Mike came by and personally explained to me what they found and what they repaired. I had to wait until it rained heavily (which just occurred in 12/08) to ensure that the roof didn't leak. It didn't. Mike and his crew were very professional and went to great lengths to ensure that I knew exactly what they were doing to fix my roof. And even better, he charged me almost $100 less then the estimate.
