Trend Micro Inc

When I was having my Windows 98 Second Edition upgraded to Windows XP, the person who upgraded the machine put Trend Micro in. I didn?t have any problem and so I left it on there. When Trend Micro was downloading for the new virus control for 2009, it crashed my system. I was getting a blue screen of death on my computer. I did a little research and wrote down everything that it said. The instruction was to go back to the last thing that I had done on my computer. I had not downloaded any other software other than Trend Micro when they downloaded it onto my computer, and it went out instantly. When I called my internet service provider, they got me back up and running, but every time the virus protection kicked in, the computer would go back down again. The way their system had been set up, I couldn?t uninstall it; they had to do it. If I?d been able to uninstall it, I would have. I called Trend Micro, and the technician had a little laugh. Later on, they called back to make amends but I told them to forget it; as far as I was concerned, they didn?t exist. They wanted to charge me $49. I am not one for the do-everything-gadget that comes out, and that?s why it took me so long to go from the Windows 98 Second Edition to XP. I would never use them even if they gave me the service for free. I?ve told them never ever to contact me again. Anyone that I talk to who is looking for an anti-virus software, I tell them not to touch Trend Micro.
