It started with Curt spending over an hour explaining to us the basics of cabinetry, like the styles, the designs, the wood types, and the colors. He answered all of our questions without giving us any pressure to put down a deposit. In fact, he encouraged us more than once not to make any commitments until we're completely comfortable and have the five remodeling decisions all sorted out: cabinet, contractor, counter top, floor, and appliances. On a hind sight, we were very relieved that he gave us this advice, because it took us much longer than expected to find a good contractor.
During the process of deciding how to design our kitchen, Curt offered a lot of good insights and helped us pick a final layout that we are very happy with. Patty also helped to put in some finishing touches.
The wood is high-quality even though we chose the silver line, and everything is either solid wood or plywood. There was no MDF or particle board. It was also made in North America.
During the remodeling process, Curt made himself available to answer questions on site, and after remodeling, he showed us how to tighten the hinges, so that the cabinet doors don't bump each other when opening.
At the end of the whole process, we are completely satisfied, not only because our kitchen looks fabulous, but also because we understand why it looks good. Many thanks go to Curt and Patty for an exceptional experience.
There are so many decisions to be made in selecting cabinets, finishes, trim, layout, internal bells and whistles. Her guidance was extremely valuable.
