They are expensive, but I think it's worth not having the headaches, crashes, bugs, and viruses.  I do get some adware, but I can clean those up pretty good.  I am a Mac fan.  I started using them in 1989 and I have not switched.  It was very easy to buy it from their online store, where you can select different options including memory size, hardware space, and CPU options.  I took about a week and a half to arrive.

Two days after Christmas when everyone has a new gadget and lots of questions, I called Apple Tech Support for help with my IPad 2.  Not surprisingly, I had to wait about 15 minutes on hold, but they let me know that up front.  After a bit, I got a friendly, intellegent voice on the other end who patiently helped me address the issue.  He spoke knowledgably but not overly "techy" - he also listened to me and what I was seeing, not just assuming I was a stupid end-user who didn't know what I was talking about.  The issue was tricky, but we worked through it as if I was the only person he needed to talk with that day and got it resolved.  Happy with my IPad and with the Tech Support response - don't be afraid to call!
