Triple R Maintenance & Construction

I have used Triple R in the past with great results and this job went well as expected.  Richard, the owner of the company was on sight daily to check on the work.  Everything went great!  The workers were very careful to clean up after themselves each day since there are many children in the building.  The damage to the landing subfloor was in worse condition than anticipated and had to be replaced.  Richard had prepared me for this possibility in advance.  The additional cost was reasonable.  I would definitely recommend this company to others.  I plan to have them back for additional projects in the near future.

. This wasn't a very big job and many companies that i called were not interested in helping me. I called Triple R and was pleasantly surprised that they were so accommodating and scheduled a free estimate for me. Richard came to the building and evaluated the situation. He was very kind and professional and answered all of my questions. Richard explained that the cabinetry would need to be removed in order to remove the ceiling that had mold. They would replace the missing insulation and fix the hole in the ceiling. The next day they would reinstall the cabinetry. I received the estimate the next day. Very reasonable! I called and Patricia scheduled the work for the next week. I called shortly before they came to add to the work. I needed an entry handrail reattached in the same apartment. It had been ripped out of the wall and would need to be reinstalled in a new location and the damaged areas repaired. Patricia said that would be fine and they could do that on day 2. I always like to be present when I start working with a new company Unfortunately, I had a family emergency the day they arrived and would not be able to stay at the building while they worked. I explained the situation to the guys when they arrived, handed them the keys and left. When I returned several hours later, the guys were just packing up their belongings. The first phase of the work was completed and they showed me pictures of the various stages of work. The ceiling looked amazing and you could not tell where the damage had been. I was very relieved that things had gone so well. I appreciated the fact that the guys took pictures to show me what had been done since I could not be there. I explained that I would not be able to be present at all the next day. I asked them to pass the keys along to the guys who would be doing the cabinet reinstallation and the railing work. I also showed them where the keys should be left after they were through working. When I returned late the next night I went to see the work. It was great! Everything was done well and the keys were right where I asked them to leave them. I've been managing an apartment building for 10 years and have worked with alot of different companies. Triple R is among the best! Their work is top notch, their prices are reasonable and every person I dealt with was kind, professional and cared about the work and the client. I will definitely be calling Triple R with my future needs. They have a wide range of skills. Check them out! You too will be pleasantly surprised!

It went fine. It is an upscale rental property and they were very professional.

Richard is busy so at times communication is tough but when he came for the walk through - he was great- he knew what had to be done and I never felt like I was being uphold additional work that others I quoted were trying to do.
Each crew member he sent to do work was clean- easy to talk to- trustworthy and they did great work.

They are good. They are local; they are from Culver City, so they know a lot about our city buildings and permits. It went very well.

The painters were prompt, polite, clean and did a good job. When the owner came over to do the initial estimate, he fixed my shower door, which was off track at no cost.

It was good but not great. It took them a couple of months to do a lot of stuff. I would not use them in the future.

It went very well. He arrived atthe agreed upon time. He was cordial, conducted himself in a professional manner and got the job done in about 30 minutes.

They are very prompt, professional and always give me a quotation in writing, followed by an email. They come on time and their demeanor is good. They are a little more expensive.

Everything went well. They were very well priced--having Lowe's come to install the dishwasher would have cost $150.00 by itself. They arrived on time and worked efficiently.

Richard Valverde was excellent from start to finish. He is clear, smart, and kind. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with him. We were re-doing our kitchen and bathroom because of water damage. Richard gave us great ideas and guided us through the process of making decisions. He provided us with a clear and easy to understand estimate. He allowed us to pick out the items that we wanted to, and provided us helpful suggestions on where to go. Once we began the work he was punctual, very communicative, and he and his crew were exceptionally clean. As he was working on a townhouse, there were some unexpected things once he got and quot;under the walls,and quot; but he offered great solutions and options for us to move forward. I am sitting at the counter in my beautiful new kitchen as I write this review, and I can't stop smiling as it is so beautiful! Things went so well that we are now planning to have the master bedroom and bathrooms upstairs remodeled next year, but only with Richard and Triple R.

I was very pleased from start to finish with Richard and the job he performed. He was right on time and ready to get started immediately. He has prepared with tools and spare parts, and quickly ran to the store to pickup the only part he was missing.
He was able to get in all sorts of small jobs after the primary reason for his visit under the 2 hour minimum time.
I would consider hiring them again without a doubt for this kind of work and will consult with them for larger projects as well.

The guy's a genius. He can do anything. It was well worth it.

My initial conversation with the contractor, Richard, was very helpful. He listened to what I was considering doing and the concerns I had about cost. He was very clear in answering questions I had. His information and suggestions helped me to make my final decisions.

The workers were friendly, diligent and professional. The work was completed in a little less than two weeks. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

They did a wonderful job. The men were on time, worked all day, did not waste any time. Very nice guys. They measured and measured and made sure everything was level. They were very careful and completely on task. My fence is perfect. The grape arbor post was set in at exactly the same height as the other posts, perfect.

I was favorably impressed with the work done and the price was as specified $55/hour. Luis is apparently one of several employees of the company. He was on time and professional and worked efficiently and whatever break he took must not have been long. At the end the work looks great. This was my first experience ever using a handyman but I have been through a remodel. As with all handymen, you will pay for their time if they have to go to the store to buy something, so discuss the job with the front office and try to have all materials on hand (through planning and luck I was able to have those materials). I gave the front office a "B" due to one false start- no workman showed on the first appointed day due to some mix-up on their end.

It went very well, better than expected considering the age of our home and the complexity of the project.

WORK RESULTS They got paint all over my brand new sink and vanity, all over my toilet and floors and they painted right over the water damage without fixing any of the damage. The caulk was smeared all over the walls. The original glaze on the tub had peeled away in sections and they re-glazed right over it without bothering to patch the holes. When I called to ask them to come back and fix their mistakes to get what I requested, they argued with me that they couldn't work on the weekends to fix their mistakes and that I was required to take time off so they could come during the week. After I convinced them to come out on a Saturday morning, Richard argued with me that their work was fine and he said to me (and I quote) "I didn't realize you wanted everything perfect" Last I checked I wasn't planning on paying ANYONE ANYTHING for less than perfect. I will never use this company again and I hope you'll take the same advice if you're interested in avoiding some major headache and attitude from your contractor.

It went smoothly. The vent is quiet, works with my light switch and the vent on the roof was securely installed.

They continue to perform high caliber work and I am always pleased with what they do. The guys that come out are always professional, courteous and I like working with them.
