SARKISSIAN CARPET ONE

Price was a bit higher than most, but Sarkissian's has been in business for many years and is local. Salesman was polite and helpful; however, he called at 4 p.m. the day before the vinyl was to be installed to ask if both vinyl and carpet could be installed on the day scheduled for the carpet(following Monday). Vinyl needed to be done first so carpet could overlap. A crew from Alpine Carpet in Culver City arrived on time on Monday but without the necessary tools and materials to repair the bathroom floor before installing vinyl. This had been agreed to in the contract. Because all furniture had been removed, we agreed to install carpet first. My wife went to the store and complained to the salesman, and after a few hours the tools were delivered so the vinyl could be installed. The job turned out OK, but it was much too stressful due to a careless oversight on the part of Sarkissian's or the other store they sub-contracted with. No follow-up call to see if we were satisfied.

THE GENTLEMAN SENT TO REMOVE OUR OLD CARPET AND LAY DOWN THE NEW WOODEN FLOORING WAS QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE, PLEASANT, EXPEDITIOUS, AND EXPERT. HE COMPLETELY CLEANED UP AFTER HAVING REMOVED ALL OF THE OLD MATERIAL FOR DISPOSAL.
