MOLLY MAID OF PLAYA VISTA

I've used them for 3 years and I just recently retired so fired them as I want to do it myself for a while to see how that goes. It was a standard figure, $136 every week. It was okay. A cleaning service like that one can't expect to do the same job they do themselves. It wasn't great, but it wasn't awful. Two people come and do the work. I wasn't here when they came because they had a key. They worked satisfactorily. Anytime there was an issue they were very responsive. We had agreed on a time frame so that they would be done while I got from work, but frequently they were leaving when I got here and sometimes they didn't come until I got home and then I would leave. I would not use them again in the future, not because I didn't like them, it's because of other reasons.

I had them clean my house several times before giving up. The problem was that they only did the most superficial wiping down of surfaces. They never scrubbed anything. After they left, I would find food stains still on my white kitchen tiles. The bathtub never seemed as clean as it should be. They "washed" the hardwood floors by spraying them with some cleaning solution and doing a quick wipe-down, so the floors never shined. Every time the two ladies came to clean my house, they stayed less time than the time before. The last straw was when the two of them "cleaned" my whole house in 45 minutes. I was definitely NOT getting $85 worth of value from that cleaning, so I canceled the service.

I suggested to Ms Johnson that the workers did not really know how to clean. You have people who work hard but not efficiently. They are not TRAINED on how to properly clean a house. At $120.00 for basically 2 or 2.5 hours it is not worth it. At no time did Ms Johnson say she would come out to inspect the work and verify what I was saying. At no time was a discount or refund offered and I did not ask for one! However, after the second visit, I did expect something but was disappointed when nothing was offered. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I believe that unless you train or have people who have at least 5-10 years experience you may never get a "good" job. I suggested to Ms Johnson that perhaps training was in order and she agreed that training is an issue with her company and she would address it.

IT WAS OK. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID THE WORK. THEY WERE NICE AND FRIENDLY. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. I DID NOT HAVE TO TELL THEM. THE WORK WAS SATISFACTORY.
