I was charged $98.00 for the first hour and $75.00 for the extra hour and half so the total bill was $173. My husband asked him to call the office to see about any kind of Angie’s List discount that might be available and all he said was “that is what we charge”. I don’t want to pay for the extra time that he was there because I informed him to go home especially after he told me that he got off at 4:00 p.m. $173.00 is too much to pay for the little amount of work and effort he put into the job. We have also stopped payment on the check.
"The customer asked us to come but did not have a replacement water filter when we arrived. We checked the kitchen faucet and determined it should be replaced. The customer chose to leave to get a filter and faucet while our Technician removed the old faucet because the customer did not want to wait over the weekend and have us return on Monday. The customer could not find a faucet she liked, but did return with the water filter. We replaced the water filter and re-installed the old faucet... And took a lot of the excess time off the bill."
My only objection was that the price for the Insinkerator was $70 higher than was available at Home depot. This was the premium I paid for my own haste.
