Carpet One Alpine

They were prompt and friendly, but the result was extremely disappointing.  The floors squeak loudly!  They took no responsibility and haven't offered to correct the problems.  They apparently knew they had botched the job, because they used the credit card number I'd used to pay the deposit and charged me in full without any authorization from me, presumably so that I could not withhold full payment until the job was completed properly.  Their website talks about satisfaction. Don't be fooled!

The guy that did the installation did a good job. He was very thorough, very efficient and he would have been great if he didn't try to steal stuff. They sold me more than I wanted. I tried to point out that it was more than I needed for my flooring and they insisted I should take that amount. When the guy installed it, I watched carefully because I knew I had ordered six boxes. He only brought five to the house and I saw the sixth box in his car. He only used four and one half box and the sixth box, he didn't even touch that. He came to collect the bill and he was charging me for all the materials so I called the company and told them I'm not paying for this stuff. On top of that I was so angry because the flooring has a 15 or 20 year warranty on it and I could not get them to give me a statement to indicate what the flooring was- who made it and which brand it was.

THEY WERE PUNCTUAL. THE GUYS WHO CAME AND LAID THE CARPET DID A GOOD JOB. I THINK THE SALESMAN WAS NOT VERY TRUSTWORTHY. I DIDN'T CARE FOR MY DEALINGS WITH HIM. HE WOULD SAY ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER. I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE HIS ADVICE. I FELT THAT THE PRICE WAS FINE. IT WAS COMPETITIVE. FOR THE APARTMENT GRADE CARPET IT WAS A LITTLE OVER $2 A YARD.
