Faster than expected. Clean up was great

The provider completed about 80% of the job and then took his check and left. I had to call him back, and he took care of some of the issues but not all of them. He took out the tree I wanted removed, but left a massive piece of trunk in my yard and filled my dumpster with its branches. He said he would remove ALL surface roots, but he removed very few. He was also to remove a dead oleander which was about 16 feet tall; for some reason he took out about 90% of it and left a few branches at full height. He destroyed my fence - he said he would remove it in such a way that he could put it back afterward. He destroyed my gate; he had said the gate would be fine and that his equipment would fit through. He destroyed my vegetable garden by dragging tree limbs across it, crushing and uprooting plants. He was rude and surly, and threatened to dump the tree trunk and branches in my driveway. He also rescheduled on me twice. I should have taken that as a sign and never let him on my property. He was cheap. I have learned from him NOT to go with the lowest bidder. In the end the damage he did to my property cost much more than hiring a real professional would have.
