wanted our old brick floor changed out or stained. Since I didn't want to go through the hassle and expense of changing out the floor, I decided to go with stripping and staining the existing brick floor. It was not easy to
find someone knowledgeable about the process, but Ramin is very
knowledgeable, and is obsessive-compulsive about his work. He stripped
the old grimy sealer from the bricks, then, working with the designer,
formulated the stain, then applied it, and finally, sealed it. The process took about 10 days, because the floor had to dry for quite awhile after it was stripped, and then after it was stained, and then again after it was sealed. I had talked to numerous people before I fortuitously called him, and most would come to the house and then decline the job. One fellow who said his company would do it would never commit to a price. Since he was going to be doing the job himself, Ramin was able to give a specific estimate, answer questions, give directions to us. For the amount and quality of the work he did, he charged a fair price, and I think the floor looks great.
I suspect that he does a wonderful job on stone--marble, granite, etc--since that's what he mainly does.
