OK, I had/have a serious Mold "Issue" in my apartment. SO bad that, things on a shelf in my room were COVERED in mold! So, I told the office here about the problem + the Manager + District Manager came to see what I was talking about. BOTH saw the water damage on the wall by the window, saw what loooked to be water damage on the wall, + saw a few things that had gotten moldy. FINALLY, after quite a while, the weather was good for re-doing external things, like windows, walls, etc.
They sent Steam Master Carpet Cleaning in to eradicate (SP?) the mold smelled in the carpet. As I started in the 1st part of this report, Joe, the owner, arrived on time and got right to work. He was done much fater than I thought it would take - a good thing. BUT.. his business card says, "Carpet Cleaning, Smoke, Fire and Water Damage". I thought, considering what he said he does, that, with a MOLD issue, he'd use the big fans to dry my carpet. (Something the office KNEW he would!)!
He did not! 3 - 4 days later, if a fist was driven into the carpet, the knuckles came back WET!
How on earth is that going to HELP rid mold?
