 + -1 moreI called Verizon to see if they now offer the fios or better dsl. The wait on the phone is very long. The web page states there is service available at my location. However once I spoke with a live person, they confirmed the service is not available and there is no forecast as to when the service is available. Meanwhile, the dsl service continues to degrade and is old technology.
Description of Work: Verizon continues to advertise for fios in my area, including emails to me as a land line/dsl user. However they don't provide fios in my area nor will they ever offer fios in my area. The dsl service is poor.

 + 0 moreWe have had good luck with. We have Vios in our house. We really have had no problems. They have been very helpful. The only complaint is the wait, but with a busy business you do have to wait. But other than that they have been very helpful and answered all our questions.

 + 1 moreI would be taking to them soon, because I am going to be changing my service. I have HPL and I am going to cancel that, because I don't use it. I am just going to change the services that they give me, not because I'm unhappy with them, it is just that I'm trying to cut down. They are very responsive. If you call them with a problem, they will come fix it right away. I've only had to deal with that once a couple of years ago.
Description of Work: I use Verizon. I have my TV, my telephone and my computer with them.

 + 0 moreTheir customer service is practically illiterate. They are confused, untrained, they tell you one thing, and then they tell you the opposite of what they just told you. Trying to get through to them makes me want to hit my head against a wall. I do not recommend this company at all.
Description of Work: AWFUL customer service. I asked for a simple transfer of my current service to a new address. I have Verizon Fios TV and Internet with no contract, and no backup/storage software. They screwed up and ordered me as a Triple Play with TV, Internet and phone, backup/storage and a 2 year contract, none of which I ordered or wanted. And now they are telling me that they can't cancel this order because it is already in process. Are you kidding me? You royally screwed up Verizon, and you are telling me that I have to pay for things that I did not order? I simply asked for a transfer of my current service. Also, their customer service double talks, is confusing, and doesn't know what they are talking about. They seem completely untrained. Try another company people.

 + -1 moreI initially had them for my phone service and then added them for my cable and internet service. I have a residential account and a business account with them. I pay about $60 for the residential accounts. I have a satellite tv. I don't have any conversations with them, just that I use the service and pay the bills. They are expensive.

 + 1 moreWe use Verizon because we don't have a choice. Verizon's service is excellent, and we will continue using them.
Description of Work: Verizon is our cable, internet and cellular provider. We started using them 4 years ago. They were out 6 months ago to replace a modem, and hook up the service.
