Unique Enterprises, a locally-owned and operated company, has been proudly service your area since 1986. Unlike most companies, we are both the manufacturer and installer for our product, so you cut out the middleman markup and are guaranteed satisfaction. We are a small company, which allows us to concentrate on customer service and quality. There is a limited lifetime warranty for defective products. No travel fees. No subs. Free estimates.

Finally, Richard calls and tells us that he's sorry, but he just got the assignment and was on his way. From there on, it was a perfect appointment. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He knows his business and for the same price as was quoted, instead of just rethreading the ball-chain, he removed the entire vertical blinds, fixed the problem and rehung them. He also fixed several of the slats that were broken.
Awesome experience except for the late arrival. Some suggestions to their office: Give a two-hour window. Everyone's accustomed to that. If you only give an appointment time, the moment that time hits, you're late and we're miffed. If the technician is running late...call the homeowner and tell them....BEFORE the appointment time. Believe me, we will think you're really awesome and on top of things!
Anyway, thank you Richard, for fixing the verticals and for being a pro!
I was told it would take 7-10 days to repair my shades. It took 20 days. I rarely got anyone on the phone when I would call to enquire. And when I did, I spoke to someone named Gerardo. He didn't seem to care that I was unhappy with the service. I made it known MANY times that I was unhappy. He never apologized or made me think he understood that I was upset. I would request information one day, he would promise to call me back by the end of the day. It would take two more days to get anyone on the phone and when I did, Gerardo acted like my request was new and that we hadn't spoken two days earlier. He NEVER made it clear that he understood I was upset with the service and the delay. I don't think I ever got through to him.
Richard was supposed to deliver my blinds today, 4/23, by 4pm. I requested a 6pm delivery but he said that was too late. I changed my whole day around to be here at his requested time. When he didn't show, I called the office and got voicemail, AGAIN. I found Richard's cell number. At 5pm, he was still an hour away from my house.
He didn't get here until 6pm (my initial requested delivery time). In NO WAY would I EVER use or recommend this company again.
"In response to (deleted member name) comments regarding the service here at Unique Enterprises, Unique Enterprises prides itself for 25 years of satisfactory customer service. It is our mission to service and treat all customers equally and to satisfy their window covering needs. It is certainly and understandably a misfortune that (deleted member name) was not pleased with our customer service regarding her job. We made every effort necessary to communicate to her that her work would be delayed. Perhaps, unfortunately, (deleted member name) did not share our communication. Her attempts to contact us regarding her job were made most likely after 3pm at which time our office is closed. Gerardo made several attempts to check the status of her shades several times with the manufacturer to whom we had shipped them to for repair and was unsuccessful on getting usable status. Gerardo did attempt to communicate that with (deleted member name). Unfortunately we, Unique Enterprises, had no other options but to wait for status from the manufacturer. We attempted every possible way to have them rushed without success. Unfortunately incidents like this occur everyday in the work place and also stain the reputation of good companies. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences that occurred and the delay of the return of her shades. We stand by our products and pride ourselves by our customer service. We hope that comments made by people who are bent on bad-mouthing companies on these sites hopefully do not convince other customers that these companies are truly not good companies to work with. Overall, their service was good. They delivered the quality product they said they were going to deliver. They did make one mistake in the order but they came back and rectified it so I don't have any issues with them.
They look lovely hanging in our living room.
