Roof lasted less than a year with major leaks and damage to our walls, floor, and carpet. Be very careful with them!

Short Version: Troy roofing *repaired* my roof and then the roof leaked in the exact same spot after the first heavy rain post repair. Troy roofing refused to honor their warranty because I had installed solar panels on a DIFFERENT part of the roof. Employees of Troy roofing are very passive aggressive and do not respect the customers time. Multiple no call, no shows from them. Multiple times when they showed up late. Multiple times where they said they were going to call me back and never did. Multiple times where I explained something to one person and then had to re-explain it to every other person I talked to because apparently no one shares information. They dragged me along for as long as possible and then ghosted me right before a major rainstorm leaving me scrambling to find someone to tarp the roof. If you still decide to use Troy roofing after reading this DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. Take pictures of your roof prior to them showing up and insist on everything in writing. Do not trust them to honor their word. I know Troy roofing will try to dismiss what I say or use personal attacks against me so I am also including link to a google doc with the long version so people can see the complete story. I am a Navy veteran, I have owned 4 homes, I have been a Mechanic Engineer for over a decade, I have done tons of repair work and worked with a bunch of different contractors. I just got my new roof installed by Troy roofing. The crew was polite and very efficient. The price was better than the their competitors and fit my budget. The owner, Troy, was on site the first day and was very involved with his crew and assured me that I was in good hands. The roof looks better than I imagined. If you’re looking for a roofing contractor, try Troy!

Asphalt roof replaced but destructive problems resulted to my home. Roof leaks in sun room. Did not leak before new roof. Needs to be calked, but he has not returned to repair. Plus, a worker disconnected pipe on roof that caused water to pour from roof down wall of house destroying stucco, soaking insulation in attic, staining and discoloring ceiling and drapery.. etc. in bedroom. He did send plumber to repair water pouring, but could not get Troy to come back and finish repair. Finally had to resort to NEGATIVE review.

Accommodated our travel schedule as well as weather conditions. Left the site clean.

I am not one that is impressed easily, but Troy is down to earth and honest. The initial visit was informative and without pressure, the price was fair, and his work was completed on time. I have several people in the trades I regularly employ and I pay each whatever they ask without question. Troy is now one of them.

I hired Troy Roofing to replace the roof. I interviewed 5 roofing contractors. In term of pricing, They are not the cheaper or the most expensive. I chose them because the project manager/sales person seems knowledgeable and honest. I have had two issues with this company. First, they did not get the permits from city in time. So that, the work was delayed for more than 2 weeks. Second, it rained one night during the construction. And, they did not put the tarp over my roof that led to flooding in my house. They sent a drywall contractor next day to fix the drywall and floor. However, it was preventable in the first place.
