Merry Maids of Covina

During the first appointment in July 2010 and again in May 2011 the maids cleaned thoroughly and efficiently. However, those were the only times. After the first appointments, the maids rushed through the process and skipped major things. I felt like I had to watch them constantly just to make sure they weren't skipping things. I don't think my windows and mirrors were cleaned more than a couple of times total. I have dogs with long hair, so I have a specialized vacuum that will pick up their hair easily; the maids continually misused and damaged my very expensive vacuum. When I complained about this, I was just given some empty promises about how they would make sure the ladies were more careful. The one time that a supervisor did come out to check on the cleaning process, she smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that I was nauseous by the time she finally left; she also paid no attention to the maids and tried to just talk to me the entire time. I felt like she was trying to distract me from watching them. My over-all largest complaint was that they were NEVER punctual. They would always be 30 minutes to an hour early or late; never on time. I complained routinely about this and again was given empty promises. I blame the management office for the punctuality issue because at the estimate meeting, I was told I would be phoned if the maids were going to arrive at a time different from my set appointment time. The only good I have to say about the service was the one maid named Nancy who was very thorough and took pride in her work. I could always tell which rooms Nancy cleaned because they were cleaned thoroughly. Unfortunately, they always sent two other maids that chatted on their phones or did who knows what else instead of actually cleaning like they were suppose to. I was so frustrated the second time I hired them that I cancelled my service and hired a private maid to clean for me. I will never use Merry Maids again and I will never recommend this company to anyone I know. Horrible horrible customer service!

Terrible service, my floor was still dirty after they left. They did not dust or vacuum under things such as my TV stand which has a 6" clearance, you could see the dust from 3 feet away. The manager came to oversee the job because they had not been cleaning properly. Manager parks in my driveway (with plenty of street parking) then sits on my couch, like he is a guest for an hour waiting for the two ladies to finish. The job still isn't done properly and I was left with dirt and cloudy streaks everywhere. I explained how to clean the tile floor at least 4-5 times and they still couldn't do it properly. This final service was after 10 other bi-weekly cleanings. I regret not firing them sooner, instead of hoping my requests would be fulfilled.

IT'S FINE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO SOMEONE LOOKING FOR THE SAME SERVICE. WHEN WE COME HOME ON THE DAY THEY'VE BEEN HERE, EVERYTHING IS NEAT, CLEAN, AND IT'S WHAT WE WOULD DO IF WE COULD TAKE THE TIME.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT WAS DONE. I WAS SATISIFED WITH THE GENERAL WORK. THEY WERE GOOD WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK THAT WAS DONE. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL.

THEY WERE AVERAGE, BUT NOT GREAT. THERE WERE LITTLE THINGS, LIKE WHEN THEY CLEANED THE BATHROOM, THEY CLEANED AROUND THE SOAP CONTAINER NOT UNDERNEATH IT AND THEY DIDN'T DO THE VENTS THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO.
