ROBINSON TILE CO

Jamie Robinson did two different projects for us, one in 2011 and this one. The first one was downstairs kitchen, bathroom and master bath. The 2012 one was the guest bath. They also resurfaced our fireplace. They are a great company, though small. Jamie runs the jobs, bids the jobs, and works the jobs along with his co-worker. They are very professional tile setters. They made excellent suggestions that we wouldn't have thought about. For instance, he knew about a specific device you put in to a shower for shelves that allows the water - if water gets in to it - to go through, rather than fill the tile up. He knew about this because he knew the person who developed it and got the patent. He told us where we could go to look at them, and explained how he would install them. He also gave us very good suggestions around the fireplace because that was being done in slate, which is structurally very different to tile. There were some pieces left over from our granite countertops and he came up with the idea to take little pieces of the granite and put them in to the backsplash in the kitchen. He was also extremely competent in doing the waterproofing of the upstairs shower.
