Trident Windows and Doors

Our replacement window project began almost a year ago. From companies that ghosted us to representitves that showed up smelling of the beer they had for breakfast this project seemed impossible to get off the ground. Everyone we spoke with had their own opinion on what we needed, from all new construction to all replacement to a combo of both. At about the time I was going to move on from this project I got a referral to Trident windows and doors. Troy and Peter came out together to assess our needs. The difference between them and everyone of the 10 other window companies that had out was noticeable immediately. We accepted their bid (6 windows, 3 doors) and waited for the windows to come in and installation to begin. The day they began started with the entire crew showing up on time and ready to go. They were polite and courteous and took care working around my house. This was a two day project, and after day one the job site was cleaner than it was when they arrived. When they say they clean the job site, they mean it! Day 2 went the same as day 1, with the job being completed exactly as described. We couldn’t be happier with our new windows and doors, and the job done by Troy and his crew at Trident. The only problem is the new doors look so good we ended up ordering another one that we hadn’t planned on replacing.

Trident replaced all the windows and a sliding glass doors on the downstairs unit of my duplex. I contacted them for a quote, after watching them replace my next door neighbor’s windows. Having replaced the upper unit’s windows with the same exact brand/style (Milgard), the year before, using my general contractor, for the installation, I new Trident’s quote was fair. For the lower unit, I wanted a contractor that just specialized in windows, because I could not afford to disturb my tenants in a protracted experience like I had with my general contractor in the upper unit. Even though the windows were the retrofit style, there is still quite a bit of detail work to set them in carefully and correctly and then caulk everything. I was impressed they were able to complete the entire job in a single day. Even when the sliding door was too big to fit through the front door, they didn’t miss a beat, lowering it down from the deck of the upper unit. They also cut and fit custom wood casings for them, as I did not want to use the vinyl strips that come with the windows. I didn’t have anything else to do, so I watched them work carefully, competently and efficiently, all day and “helped” (got in their way).
