Sunrun Makes it possible to go solar with little upfront cost, 0 down required if home is a good fit, Maintenance and repairs are covered. Optional accessories, including battery storage and EV chargers for just 35 per month, replaceable every 10 years up to 25 years covered in warranty for best optimal usage. Founded in 2007, the company pioneered a new solar as service model, whereby homeowners lease the solar system through Sunrun and pay a fixed monthly fee, just like leasing a car. Under the terms of the contract, which is 25 years, Sunrun owns all the equipment and is responsible for any maintenance or repairs.
