They were rude with their correspondence over the phone.

New fence and gate went in fine. Problems started 2 years later when we needed a new gate from them, and SEVEN of the panels replaced because they had warped! Both my wife and I have been trying for over a MONTH to get them to even return a phone call now. No returned phone calls, no returned emails, nothing from Saddleback. If I could, I'd have them pull the fence out and refund me.

Excellent. The fence looks great. The first 20 feet is on a grading/slope, and the new fencing is much better, functionally and appearance, than the old wooden fence ever was.

Mike came to our house last year and gave us a quote for a wall topper and slatted 11 x 20 vinyl patio cover. We decided to put it off until now. We went back to the showroom and talked to Alex (very nice gentleman). We made an appointment for Mike to come back out. He was punctual and very nice, also. We showed him last year's quote, and he agreed to accept it. We knew there would be added costs for engineered drawings and permits plus lights. The price was competitive. Everything went fairly well until we asked him for a couple of references, people we could actually speak to and see the finished product. (Last year he gave us references, but they were all commercial properties.) He was not happy about that at all, but he finally agreed. This situation didn't sit well with us. He said he wouldn't be able to get that to us until the end of the week--we received it the following week with an apology for being late. We received a quote for the same work from another vinyl company, and he gave us several past client references in our city within a couple of hours, and I was able to speak with a happy client. Unfortunately, each of the three vinyl companies we received quotes from told us three different procedures on how they were going to attach the patio cover to the house/roof. At this point we were so confused that we decided to go with Patios by B and B (aluminum patio cover and vinyl wall topper), whom we had received a quote previously. What a wonderful experience with Patios by B and B--scheduled to start in two weeks

Randy came the first time on Nov.7 for an estimate of 63ft long 9ft high fence on my side yard which has a small gate , was professional gave me the estimate but I noticed he was not sure what to do with the gate because it effects the fencing side
a couple of days later I called him if he can come back because of some concern of mine regarding the hight and the gate and may be if it's possible about the estimate because it was kind of high, came back on Nov.13 we talked about every thing and he said I will talk with Alex and call you by the end of the same day or the next, today is the 20th of Nov. never heard from him or any one from the company .
If for any reason they don't want to do the job at least they should have called me as professionals and give any reason like maybe they simply don't want to do this job I would have accepted gladly, I wonder they only have 4 reviews

We were very pleased with this company. From the very beginning when the salesman, Mike Thompson, came out the first time to the last finished product, it was a very positive, happy experience.
The Company delivered on their promises, they did quality work, the product was high quality, When there was a problem with the patio cover having to be placed on top of the roof, they called out several specialists (3 roofers and 3 rain gutter men) to find a great solution to stop the water leaks when it rained.
One of the pleasures working with this company was the concerted effort of all of their Installers to keep the work place clean. Every night they cleaned everything and made it tidy before they left. On the Install in August, the job required more than the 2 days that was allowed for the work and the Installer kept working until the job was finished (12 hour day) and he was so fastidious to clean everything up before he left.
Our only complaint is that they are so busy, it takes forever, it seems, to go from the order date to the Install date, but the quality of work is well worth the wait! We highly recommend this company.

Very well, they came in and replaced rotting posts and mailboxes without difficulty only taking several hours to finish the work. Several years ago I had them replace part of our fence with their products (this was before I joined Angies list) I had as good an expperience then as I did this time. I like the longevity of the vinyl products and have had no problems with the fence or their products since.

Initially, I asked Steve Ortiz (salesperson) to come out and give a group presentation to my immediate neighbors and me to replace our deteriorating backyard wood privacy fence and side gates with a high quality vinyl product. At that time, Saddleback was using Certainteed; they now use Enduris, a comparable product. Because of offsetting lots and our Homeowner's Association approval process, over the next 2 years I eventually coordinated with 14 adjacent neighbors to join our project. Steve then measured everyone's fences and developed a separate quote and contract for the shared cost of each participating neighbor. During both the organizing/decision phase and the install phase, Steve and Alex (Sales Manager) and the installers were always responsive in addressing my questions and resolving concerns. I am very pleased with the result. One suggestion I have is to make sure everyone is aware of what is currently on and under your old fence (tree/bush roots may need to be removed, or underground sprinkler pipes may need to be re-routed) to accommodate your new fence and wider posts. It's not a big deal, but it will minimize surprizes/problems during install.

In general they did very well. The only problem that I had with them was that, one of the things had to be re-ordered. I don't know whether it was their problem or the supplier's problem but somehow they ended up getting the wrong thing for one of the fences and that was for one of our future projects. Otherwise their overall job was great and the quality of work they did was excellent.
