Less than 3 months later after the house had been restored to its originial condition, the same laundry drain backed up.  This time the back up caused even more damage with the drywall in the kitchen ceiling below requiring replacement.
Tammy Hopkins from Reliable Rooter & Plumbing says they did a great job and this was exactly what was supposed to happen.

Great, but it happened again 3 days later, and they came back at no charge, replaced pipes and other stuff, and gave me a no charge 6 month guarantee.

The first visit resulted in only a temporary clearing. A week later they had to come back and re-rooter this time into the main for a distance. That took care of the clog. We had the same plumber for all visits and he was friendly and and spent extra time on the followup to get it right.

It all started (as most situations like this probably do) with my drains backing up. Reliable rooter came out and cleaned the line through my roof, which worked for a couple days. They said if it clogs up again I'll probably need to get a cleanout installed since their snake could only fit through the 2 inch pipe on my roof (vs a 3 inch cleanout). Turns out they were right, and not only did I need a cleanout, but there were two cracks in the piping. They replaced the length of line between the cracks with better piping and installed a cleanout. All the while they were telling me exactly what they were doing, and if it was going to cost more they told me before they did the work (started as $800, but then when we found the second set of roots it went up to $1300). For $1300 they cut open a section of my concrete driveway, dug down 6 feet and replaced 8 feet of pipe, installed a one way cleanout and then patched the driveway and removed all the rubbish. It was inconvenient, for sure, but Reliable Rooter (i think the owner/plumber's name was Lee) was very professional and did a rock solid job for a price nobody else could come close to.

Professional, clean and showed up on time. They did a very good job and we really liked them.

The customer service on the telephone was superb, and I had a plumber arrive within 2 hours of my call. Plumbers were efficient and knew their craft. Made every effort to not make a mess, which I appreciated. Without prompting, were able to talk about some additional improvements in plumbing technology that would help prevent the problems occurring in the future or, if they occurred, would make repair efforts less expensive. I was totally pleased with the efforts of the company.

He was the only plumber who could come out the same day when we needed a drain cleared. He is a really nice guy and we have had him come back for other general plumbing work. He does good work, shows up as promised and his fees are VERY reasonable.

On New Year's Eve our entire plumbing system (toilets, sinks, showers, laundry) backed up. Lee was the only plumber who returned our call. He set up a time on New Year's Day to come out. We had to pay a holiday rate but we didn't care. It was well worth $225 to have our house back to normal on such short notice. Lee was the only plumber in our area that was willing to work on New Year's Day. Overall, he and the gentleman working with him were delightful, even while it was pouring rain while they worked.
