Newave was awesome! Very responsive, respectful, thorough. Real pleasure to work with :)

They asked me not to write a review and I have an email from Cory Monroe (GC) threatening to sue me if I wrote a bad review. My cabinets (custom, $17,000) are already falling apart after a few months. I wish I could put up photos here. This was bid as 2-2 1/2 months weeks. I expected it to take a little longer .. always does, but took 9 MONTHS. That's how it went. If you want to know why, feel free to contact me at [email protected]. I am happy to speak by phone and if you are really interested show you the place and the issues I still have that they will not address. I have daily detailed documentation and pictures (along with all the correspondences). There is too much to write details. However there were issues with professionalism, schedule, workmanship and costs, following building rules and how they kept my place. They knew I would be living in it during the remodel and knew this when they bid the job. The assured me my place would be tidy and broom clean One time Cory wrote notes calling me derogatory names. He called me the "B" word and said F - U on the phone. This is just the beginning of what you may have to face if you work with NeWave. NOTE: I can supply all supporting documentation - emails, texts, VMs and photos to support my statements.

NeWave was very professional & provided exceptional high quality work, materials and craftsmanship at a reasonable cost. They were prompt, clean, meticulous, thorough, creative and conscientious. We had several different projects, and some difficult repairs and they developed innovative solutions that fixed each issue. Their communication and follow-up throughout the process was excellent with a proactive approach, which carried through to the end. NeWave Construction has my absolute recommendation.

We interviewed four different contractors. Newave construction was the most diligent and responded quickly whenever called, which was a very good sign to me of how he and his company would work. They provided a complete bid promptly and performed all work in the required time frame. They worked diligently every day and performed all work professionally. I would recommend them to all people looking for general construction professionals. They showed up everyday on time and finished the work when they said it would be completed

Be sure to work with a contractor you feel comfortable communicating with.

Work was performed and completed as agreed, they helped with additonal money needed from the insurance company due to new found damage behind wall.

Although Corey was the highest estimate he took the time to carefully review the existing structure, took careful measurements, made preliminary plans to pin down material costs and answered all of my questions as to the higher costs. In his estimate compared to others. He provided a detailed explanation of his estimated charges and explained potential up-charges which were necessary after consultation with the Laguna Beach building department and changes we requested. Newave won't be the cheapest but will provide a high quality construction project.

Corey was professional and careful. The work was done quick and precise to specifications. There was, however, driveway damage from their excavator and although he said it would be fixed, we haven't seen him back. He was quick and efficient up to this point but has dropped off on the diligence now that it would mean no income. The work was done over a year ago and our driveway is still deeply gouged. Sadly, that is preventing me from giving a glowing recommendation.

They were on time and worked until my entry door fit just right. They didn't settle with just o.k. it had to fit. I could tell they took pride in their work. I would highly recommend Newave Construction.

Working with Cory and his crew was a pleasant experience. We originally had him remove a wall to open up the area between our living room and dining room. We were so happy, we had him scrape and retexture our ceilings. Both jobs turned out great. They were always on time. Cleaned up after themselves. Did a professional job for a good price. We are very pleased and will use his company in the future.

Called and emailed immediately. Worked with what we wanted and gave us quotes for 'what ifs'. Started work immediately. Price appeared reasonable. Satisfied with work.
