Down To Earth Lawn & Garden Service is a locally owned and operated business offering landscaping and landscape maintenance services in Orange County, California since 1981. Mike Wells started Down To Earth Lawn & Garden Service in 1981 in Costa Mesa, CA. By 1986 the business had grown substantially and Paul Secard became a partner, bringing 11 years of landscape industry experience with him. Since 1981, Down To Earth Lawn & Garden Service has steadily and successfully grown because we provide responsive, professional service; draw from a wealth of experience; have great employees and thousands of wonderful, satisfied customers. We consistently provide superior quality service at competitive prices because customer satisfaction is our first priority. We know that pleasing our clients is our only guarantee of success. From the beginning, we developed our excellent reputation based on a solid foundation of professionalism, repeat business and customer referrals. Ben came out in December to give me a detailed estimate. that was very torough as to what he thought my best approached would be, after a few minutes and going over all of his suggestions, I agreed. About one week later a date was set.
Start date was 2 Jan, Ben and the crew were there on time. Ben introduced Lucio, the foremen, to me and my wife, after that we went to the backyard, were Ben went over the all the work to be done. During our walk thru, Lucio noticed that the two Bottle Brush trees had not been trimmed properly in the past, he said that they looked more like a bush, then a tree. He personally trimmed the trees, now they look like trees, not bushes that that were harboring some local critters. Second day final trimming and cleanup, and I mean they really cleaned up. Ben a Great job, and to Luico and his crew you couldn't ask for better.

When we finally did connect, the demeanor of Mike, the gentleman I spoke with, was professional and organized.
Pricing was not competitive with any other quote so we decided not to set appt. And I must say that this was the only company I had to leave a message for - all others called answered on initial contact. However, when we did finally connect professionalism was clearly a priority. Much appreciated.
