I was upset with them because on 10/25/13 when the technician was out evaluating why ice maker would not work and determining I would need a new ice maker, I asked him about the excess condensation on the top shelf of refrigerator and was told that was normal, but since 10/25/13 it has gotten worse so one can see the dripping coming down from where the water filter is stationed. I now just put a small tupperware container on top shelf to catch excess water so shelf remains dry. I would not use them again because I feel they should have had more of a clue as to why I would have been experiencing more condensation on top shelf of refrigerator since working on refrigerators is their expertise.

Update: Shortly after service was performed I was called by A** inc. and informed my $100 check had been stolen from them. I was asked to reissue them a check; which is exactly what I did. A week or so later I am called AGAIN from them saying the never received the second check. I confirm address and we decide to wait a couple more days before issuing a THIRD CHECK.
I just received a another from them. This time, they threaten to send someone to my house and rip the part out of my dryer, if they don't get paid! Keep in mind I have paid them TWICE already! Looks like its another trip to bank to stop check number two and re reissue number 3. I really wish I had never done business with them.



Prompt response to my phone call.

The tech came out same day and investigated the problem, He was polite /professional and gave an estimate for a next day repair. The price seemed very high for both labor and material, but I was in a bind and needed the dryer working asap.

I asked him to also order some parts for a dishwasher but the quoted part price was close to 40% above what I found on the internet so I didn't order from them.

The bottom line is that I was very happy with the service provided, it just cost too much.

I own a commercial establishment in Huntington Beach, CA. One of my freezers started smoking this morning, so I quickly called several refrigeration repair companies listed locally on Angie's List. Appliance Service Specialists were professional over the phone and patient when it came time for me to find out the make and model of my 40+ year old freezer. They initially offered to come out the next day for the repair, but my store is open and I needed this fixed today, so they sent out a technician to reach me from 1-4pm. Mira arrived at 2pm and quickly went to work. He found the burnt wires and gave me an estimate on the repair. After 45 mins, Mira was done and my freezer was working.
I asked Mira twice about refilling the freon, but was told that over filling of freon could potentially damage my freezer and that there was no way of knowing how much freon was currently in the machine. So until the freezer shuts down completely, then there's no need to worry about the freon levels. Nice tip!
Quick service. Reasonable fees. Highly recommended.

Service person came out said it would cost about $200. When he came back the part was incorrect and that it would be an additional $200. Took some time for the part to come in. I probably wouldn't use this company again due to the large increase in the part charge.

They gave me a set price, then I found out that the part only cost $10 and I paid the man $280 to fix it. I was in the position that the food would go bad if I didn't get them right then and there.

I called and the service replied promptly. I had to reschedule, but that was no problem. When I spoke to the serviceman and told him the problem, he told me what he thought the repair would require and we set a date. I left work on that day to meet him at my house. He called from the road and asked me again about the nature of the problem, which I described. He said he would have to order the part, so my trip to meet him was basically wasted—it seems to me he could have determined that he needed to order the part the first time I talked to him. A few days later, I met him at my house. He was on time, took apart the washer, and replaced a part. He was professional in attitude. But I thought the charge was excessive—nearly $300 total. I can't comment for sure on the charge for the part—$160, although that seems like a lot for what appeared to be an electrical switch. But the charge for labor was $120—for less than a half hour's work. I blame myself mostly, because I accepted an estimate of $285 before we started. I should have clarified the labor charge ahead of time. I wouldn't say I'd never use the service again, because he did a good job with the repair. My principal complaints are the wasted trip and the excessive charge.

First, I had scheduled an appointment with a vendor recommended via the Kitchen Aid website. They called during my appointment time and said the repair person had called in sick. Very annoying.
I went on Angie's List and found this place. I called and was immediately put at ease by the person who answered the phone, who took my info and told me he would have someone at my residence within 2 hours! The repairman came within 90 minutes, and was able to run through the solutions to solve the issue, which turned out to be a simple re-set of the system. He only charged me the diagnosis fee, but probably could have charged me more. I felt very good about this experience and will use them again, no doubt.

Our 2 yr old Samsung dryer stopped working. Called ASSI right when they opened, was able to arrange a service call within a few hours. I needed to go to work, but my husband was here and watched the repair. My husband said that the dryer seemed very complicated and time consuming to take apart. After it was opened up, it was the belt that had broken, ASSI had a replacement belt, fixed that problem and put the dryer back together. He was paid and was on his way. My only complaint is that, my inside dryer light does not come on now and it was working fine before the repair. I can only assume that in repairing the belt, the light must have been disconnected and was not reconnected when putting the dryer back together. It's really not worth taking a day off work for the dryer light to be reconnected, but I do miss it...

The repairman came the day after I called (he would have come the same day had I been able to be at home), at the time promised. He took apart the dryer, then gave me a repair cost estimate. He also discussed the pros and cons of repair versus buying a new dryer. He was prompt and professional and cleaned up. I would definitely use this service again.

From one day to the next our dryer stopped heating. I called ASSI and booked a Saturday morning appointment. They said the estimate for the work would be $45 which could be credited toward the repair job if I had them do the work. They came out within the designated time frame (between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.) and diagnosed the problem as a failed thermo protector and could fix it immediately. I had them do the work and they were done in about half an hour. They were courteous, quick and very professional.

We discovered that the refrigerator section was warm around 7 PM. The freezer seemed to still be cold. We called and talked to a dispatcher. He said he could have a repairman there in the morning. The service technician arrived within the promised time. He checked the compressor and such and determined that the computer that controls the operation of all the parts wasn't working. He called the warehouse and determined the part was available. Because we had to remove everything from the freezer and defrost it before the work could be completed, he returned the next morning. The computer was replaced and programmed in about an hour's time. The serviceman cleaned up the area and explained how long we should wait before putting food back in.

My washer stopped working in the middle of a cycle, leaving me with a tub full of water and clothes I was washing to get ready for a vacation. I called this company and they said they could have a repairman there within 3 hours. He actually arrived within an hour and repaired the washer in less than an hour. He was very polite, explained everything and checked to be sure the washer worked through all the cycles. I was a very happy camper to be back on my vacation preparation schedule in such short time.
