Jim was on time, removed his shoes on entry, was very calm and explained everything to me, and let me hover to watch and learn. His rates are $60/hour, and then added charges for a new valve and flapper for the toilet. And in 2 hours of work, he had fixed the toilet, the switch, removed the faulty fire alarm and light fixture. And I was left with knowledge on how to replace the items myself in the future.
My new homeowner's list keeps growing, and I will definitely hire Jim again.

He has been a true gift to me and I will be using him always when I have need for his services.

A wonderful handyman.  I would call and use him in a minute.  Very responsive.

He is very prompt, he is very accommodating and he is just a charming man. The quality of his service was excellent.

My project involved installing a very large, custom-made bookcase into a wall space. The wall space was not square, and the entire project was fairly complicated. It took a day and a half altogether and required adjusting each piece to fit the space. Jim arrived before the project to scope it out and give me a quote. He then came back and spent the day and a half to do the project and completed the whole project while keeping me in the loop on decisions and getting my opinion on various options (like I said, it was fairly complicated!)

He did an excellent job, had tools and some materials in his truck, and finished in a bit more than an hour.

The work was okay. I might hire him again in the future.

He was a good person to work with.  At first he was not clear if he was the best person for the job and he referred me to another person which I thought was nice. We talked more and I decided to use him and he did the work in a timely manner.

When I called Jim told me his hourly rate and gave me an estimate over the phone.
He came to the appointment on time and was very professional.  He worked very quickly, and his rate is extremely reasonable.

He was fine.  I liked him.  He was honest.  His pricing was fair.  I have no complaints.

Mr.Fox returned my call promptly and arranged to come out the next day. He is very courtious and friendly. He looked at the door and said it was a faulty sensor that did not let the door to go back down when using the remote. The devise is getting old, but it was definitely worth repairing He called a local door company and found that the part would cost a $100.00. He asked me if I wanted to go ahead, which I did. He got the sensor part and came back the next day and installed it. He is very efficient. He charged me $60. which was for only an hour of his time and he had had to spend much more than that just getting it. It cost me a lot less money than getting a new opener and having it installed.I am very pleased and will definitly have him again

All work was done well, except a leak under the bathroom sink required him to come back 3 more times. To his credit, he offered to pay for a plumber if his last fix didn't stop the leak.

Jim did a very good job - I was pleased. He was very candid up front about what he was going to do and the timing involved in getting the neccessary parts.

He didn't do the work that I indicated, so he gave me three numbers of people that did. He was very professional. He had a reasonable price. I would recommend him. He came over the day that I called him.
