PADRE POOLS

Nightmare experience!!! We hired Padres Pools in 2021 to redo our existing pool and add a hot tub. During construction, we dealt with multiple issues including a substantial pool leak, hot tub that's already settling, having to rebuild the spillover four times, needing a blower to our equipment because otherwise the jets on the tub would stop working, abysmal tile installation, the list goes on. We had to fight Padres for nearly a year to get reimbursed for the tile work so we could hire someone else to redo it. These issues are just the cherry on top of what was an overall very poor experience with Padres Pools. For an entire home renovation that took over a year to complete, Padres Pools was by far the biggest headache that we had to deal with. For anyone looking for a pool contractor, avoid Padres Pools at all costs!

They put in all new pool equipment, which was supposed to be very good from what people have told me, but when they put it in, it didn’t work.  Lony from Padre Pools told me it wasn’t his problem and to call the warranty people.  I called the warranty people and they fixed it, but I didn't like Lony's response.  I had a lot of issues that they had to come in and redo over and over.  They put the coping in wrong, then they put in the wrong colored grout and then they had to chip out all the grout and then they had to put all new grout in, it was a pain in the neck.  He would not answer my phone.  I would leave messages and he would never call me back.  Then I would call the contractor, but he also had a hard time getting him, and he said he will also not be using them in the future.

THE POOL AND ENTIRE BACKYARD THAT WAS BUILT LOOKS FANTASTIC. EXCELLENT JOB, FIRST CLASS. IN COMPARISON TO OTHER BIDS, PADRE POOLS WAS LOW BID, BUT DIDN'T SKIMP ON ANYTHING. FREE POOL CLEANER RECEIVED.
