Service was okay at best. They hire young college kids who are not really invested in the work.
They never vacuumed the pool, and almost never brushed it out.
When they replaced the DE filter materials, it back washed into the pool, staining the plaster.
They did not clean up the mess near the pool pump until I complained twice, and they did a poor job of it.
When the pool heater igniter failed, they replaced it to the tune of $115.00. It works now, but it seemed pretty expensive for what it was, and he charged a healthy service fee on top of that.
I mentioned my concerns many times, but most of the time the boss was going out of town and would get back to me later.
After 6 months, I decided to get a new pool service.
If you use The Pool Guy, all I can say is "good luck".

Did a great job diagnosing a larger problem and even a quick fix for a small switch issue. Gave an estimate of the required work on-site and didn't charge a trip fee. Really nice guy too!

I'VE USED HIM FOR THE LAST TWO AND A HALF OR THREE YEARS. HE IS GREAT. HE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE'S BEEN ABLE TO FIND A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN GOING WRONG AND HE FIXED THEM BEFORE THEY BECAME A MAJOR PROBLEM.
