Oliver's Custom Painting

Matt Oliver was painting a house down the street... I checked him out on the internet... And I liked what I read and the way he said he did things... I walked down and asked Matt if he could come down and give an estimate on fixing a botched paint job done by Kevin's Painting from 2 months ago... Matt came down and looked over the work I wanted fixed... Matt said he could make it a lot better... I hired him on the spot... Matt's first day on the job was nothing but sanding my siding to remove the sags and roller marks left by Kevin's Painting... The next day he rolled on the first color coat... It looked fantastic... I was completely satisfied with his work... I was ready to pay him and thank for a job well done... But at the end of the day... Matt said he wasn't satisfied with the results... Matt wanted to apply another coat of the same color... And sure enough he was right... It looked even better than I could have ever hoped for... He is truly the last of what I consider a professional tradesman... No helpers just him... He is an old school professional... Sand, prime and paint... He is not about finishing the job as quickly as possible and moving on to next job... His main concern is a top quality paint job done the right way not the fastest or easiest way... I will highly recommend Matt Oliver's Painting to everyone... I just hope he doesn't retire before I die... He is the only painter I will use going forward... I just wished I had found him years before this....

Over the years I have not had good luck with painters. Matt is the cousin of one of my co-workers and came highly recommended. I was so pleased with the work he did. The whole interior needed painting and he did an excellent job. He is detailed and meticulous and not 1 spot of paint ended up on the tile flooring or carpet. He cleaned up every day and left the house in order so it was easy to live in while the painting was going on. I could trust him to be in my house when I wasn't home. In fact, one day I went to work and left my wallet on my home office desk in plain view. I called him and he put it under the mattress of my bed for me and sure enough it was there in tact when I got home..........nothing missing. I will be having him back to do the exterior soon. I have already recommended him to several people. If you need a painter, this is the guy to call!
