That got kind of tainted by that thing getting knocked off. But other than that, he did a really good job and they were very punctual. I don't know what to compare the price to, but I'll give that a B too. If he hadn't knocked that thing off and if it was little bit cheaper, I'd probably give them an A.

My cabinets needed replacing and decided I would just have the seller take care of the installation as well.  My logic being that they would have greater leverage over the installers due to volume and provide better support in the event of an issue.  Plus, I've been doing a ton of projects over the last couple years and wanted to be in the back seat for once.  I got estimates from the big box stores, one major online place and a local cabinet company.  Given that I'm giving my beloved Lowes a poor rating, I'll try to provide some detail.. 

Purchase/design process - five stars.  The pricing and quality were very close, but the Lowe's Kitchen Designer (KD) was better than all the rest.  She knew the latest styles, how dark to go, how much wider I could go with my sink base...the list goes on and on.  In the end, I went with Shenandoah Chocolate Glaze with Blanco Maple quartz counter top.

Cabinets - five stars.  I was a little worried about discoloring and/or cabinets that just didn't match as I had seen quite a few reviews with that issue.  My cabinets arrive in perfect condition and the quality exceeded my expectations. Shenandoah sent emails keeping me posted on status and I was also able to track online. The cabinets were delivered by a "white glove" crew that delivered them like they were made out of glass.  Also stacked them in my garage very tightly to minimize space used. 

Cabinet installer - two stars.  The installer assigned to my deal made the process a bad experience.  My review would look like War & Peace to cover the 7 weeks it took this guys crew to complete 2 days of work.  It was really tough to get an install date out of him, then he flaked out the day before he had agreed to perform the work...then he cut corners when he finally arrived.  Nice enough guy and very capable of doing good work, but lots of talk, excuses, whatever...nothing more.  He would have received one star for all the games he played over the last two months, but he did come back and fix a range/micro issue...so I'm bumping the score up a notch. 

Counter-tops - five stars.  We had a slight bump in the road when they took the template and wanted to have some funky-do end, but that was resolved.  Unfortunately, Lowe's took a week and too many escalations in order to resolve, but it did get resolved and the counter tops turned out great.  They were very professional, high quality and punctual. 

Lowe's Sales and Installation team - 1 star.  Give credit to this team for destroying a brand in 2 months that took years to build.  They truly don't care...all the way up to the Lowe's store manager  They did nothing when the cabinet installer called the day before agreed upon install date and said "Maybe next Tuesday"...which was over a week away.  It took them a week, with my pushing them every day, to make a 5 minute call to address an issue with the counter top.  And even then, they pushed back.  I'll post a picture of the hideous counter-top template Lowe's pushed me to accept. And then there was the range/micro not lining up.  I don't recall how long that dragged out.  They have very cozy and unprofessional relationships with their installers, so it's no wonder the installers are gaming the system and doing shoddy work. 

So, if I could go back and do it all again... I'd still buy the cabinets from Lowe's as their KD was the best.  I'd also buy the Shenandoah cabinets and Silestone counter tops as they turned out really nice.  I would not use their installation services again or recommend them to anyone else.     

We?ve done a lot of shopping there for all kinds of things. They?ve been good. They are also very competitively priced.

Their services were very good. They followed up to make sure everything was connected and working well. Lowe's stands behind everything they do. If they provide a service, they are good to make sure work is solid. We are happy with the results and will continue to use Lowe's for our home needs.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE THE LIGHTING MADE AROUND MY POOL. THIS COMPANY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND THEY SUGGESTED THE PERFECT PLACE FOR ME TO PUT THE LIGHTING IN MY BACK YARD. I WASN'T SURE WHERE TO PUT THE LIGHTS TO ILLUMINATE THE YARD AND THEY GUIDED ME.

LOWE'S DELIVERED THE GARAGE DOOR WITHIN THE 3 HOUR TIME FRAME THEY GIVE FOR DELIVERY. THE INSTALLER SAID IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3 HOURS TO INSTALL THE GARAGE DOOR AND ACTUALLY FINISHED THE JOB IN AN HOUR AND A HALF. THE GARAGE DOOR IS GREAT AND THE WORK PERFORMED WAS EXCELLENT.

DESPITE SOME DELAYS DUE TO MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE SALESREP AND THE CABINETMAKER, MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH LOWES WAS AT WORST GOOD. I AM HAPPY WITH MY NEW CABINETS WHICH WERE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED BY THIS COMPANY.

I HATE DEALING WITH THE BIG NAME HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES. EVERYTHING IS SUCH A HASSLE AND TAKES SO LONG FOR THEM TO DO WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO. I AVOID COMPANIES LIKE THIS WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

THEY DID A PERFECT JOB ON INSTALLING MY MISTER. WITH A WATER MISTER AROUND MY POOL IT MAKES IT BETTER WHEN YOUR TANNING BECAUSE IT DOESN'T ALLOW YOUR SKIN TO DRY, IT KEEPS YOUR SKIN MOIST. THEY DID A GRRRRREAT JOB AND I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

LOWES DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON COMPLETING THE WORK ON MY HOME. THEY PUT MY DOORS UP IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THEY WHERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES, I HAD SEVERAL QUESTIONS IN REGARDS TO THE CARE OF MY DOOR AND THEY WHERE VERY HELPFUL.
