Andre knew immediately that the high pitched rubbing noise my dryer was making was caused by a faulty pulley. He had a replacement in his vehicle and gave me a fair quote (including a 10% senior discount on labor). He left the area in pristine condition upon completion and the whole process only took 45 minutes to 1 hour. I would call this company again if I neded the services they provide and highly recommend them to other members

I called J.I.M. Appliance Repair around 8AM and they scheduled a same
day appointment window of 11A-2P. Technician arrived at 12:30P
(Wonderful). He diagnosed the problem as a bad circuit board. He went to
his truck and actually had the part. He installed it quickly and was done in about
45 minutes. I am very satisfied with this company and will definitely use
them again. i also will refer them to my friends and neighbors.

The call taker gave me the next appointment which was the same day. No charge for this. Repairman was prompt, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it, all in 30 minutes. Cost was.under $100. I couldn't be more pleased with JIM .

I had trouble finding a repairman to come out because of course my refrigerator died right before the Memorial Day weekend. Finally called J.I.M. Appliance Repair and they said they could come out between 3 - 5 the same day (Saturday). Called me back a bit later and said he could come between 10 and 12 noon. Ken showed up at 11, went right to work. He explained what the problem was and the cost to repair. He had the parts on his truck, so it was done in less than an hour. He told me I would have to leave the doors open and unplugged for at least 24 hours to allow the frost to melt off the interior parts. We plugged it back in at 5:00 Sunday and it is now working perfectly.

I am perfectly happy with my experience with this company.

I had a really bad experience with J.I.M. Appliance Repair. Their price was unbelievable. They were late coming out. They gave me a time span in which they would arrive and they didn't show up. I called the office and then the technician called me back saying he had a flat tire, so he was an hour late. Which wasn't a big deal. When he did come out he didn't even look at the washing machine. All I did was tell him the error code the washing machine gave me and he told me he knew exactly what it needed. I asked if he was going to look at the washing machine and he said no he didn't need to and that it would be $50 for the call. I said "you didn't do anything." He said he would added it on to my bill at the end and he was going to order these 2 parts, because that is probably what is wrong with it. It was nearing Christmas and I told him I was leaving town so he said he would get to me by the end of the week. He didn't get to me by the end of the week. I left town and it was another 2 weeks. I finally called and said what is going on. He said he called me on Monday and I told him you were supposed to call me on Friday. I told you I was leaving town. He came out and replaced the one part and then said he was going to replace the other one too, because it is probably going to go anyway. Then the next day I went to run my washing machine and something else was wrong with it. So I called him back and said "hey something else is wrong with it." and he said oh it might be another part. I told him that it was weird that they came out and fixed my washing machine and then something else goes wrong with it. He said it was probably just a coincidence. I said I don't think it is just a coincidence and I think you guys should come out and replace it. He said well the part is $40. I said I wasn't going to pay them anymore money. I had already paid them $450. Now you tell me you fixed the machine, but it doesn't work and now it is another part and you haven't looked at the washing machine. He said he ordered the part and then he never called me back. They have never replaced the part.

The machine works in only one area. I have like 20 different speeds and only one works. They charged me $450 to do the whole damn thing. I am so upset about it that I can hardly even think about it. They either need to come out and fix my washing machine or give me a new one. They are not even a company, they are like a clearing house. You call up the company and they contract out with different technicians. It is not even a company that has any control over the technicians. It is just a contractor who says okay you can go out under my name. They contract out with all these different technicians. It is not even a company.

I would give them an F absolutely. An F in everything. They didn't do anything, but charge me a whole bunch of money and my washing machine doesn't work.

I found J. I. M. to be a very professional company. Once Dima arrived at my house, I realized I used them once before in the past and was happy with that service as well. He was right on time, curteous and got to work right away. One thing I like about Dima is that he comes in and gets to work right away. He doesn't waste time with a lot of small talk. I explained my washing machine leaked all the water out the last time I ran it. He took the front panel off, thoroughly examined everything, started the machine and found out the hose had a crack in it. Luckily, he had the part in his truck. He fixed it right away and I was up and running again. He also explained that if I kept my loads to large instead of extra large (which was my norm) then the machine would last longer. He showed me that I was using too much detergent as well and what the proper amount should be. I really appreciated the fact that the repairman was showing me how to make my appliance last longer. This showed me they aren't in the business of just trying to get my money. My dryer was taking forever to dry my clothes as well so I asked if he would take a peek at it since he was there. He asked me to show him the air vent from the dryer to the outside. When I showed it to him, he explained that mine runs under the house which is the worse type. Water gets into the vent from the outside and cloggs up the vent so that the air and lint can't make it's way out. He said it's difficult to clean. He drew me a picture of the 3 types of vents people have in their homes and explained the benefits of each one. Said I should consider closing off the current vent and have a new one built so my dryer will always work properly. Great company and I highly recommend them!

J.I.M. Appliance was the service provider. I used the provider in November of 2012 because they offered the best quote and their website indicated that there was a 5 year warrantee on the parts and labor. The good points of the experience are that the dishwashing machine now WORKS and I paid about $50-$100 less than other service providers. I paid about $180 total for a new dishwsher pump and a new door seal. The bad points of my experience are as follows: *The J.I.M. appliance repair technician said that the 5 year warrantee posted on the J.I.M. website is incorrect and that there is NO WARRANTEE (I had to call and speak with a manager who said the warrantee would only apply for certain parts and services for 1 year). *There appeared to be a language barrier with the service technician. *The tech did not want to provide a itemized receipt (I had to strongly request and the tech had a somewhat rude response in my opinion). *I had to wait 2 weeks for the service provider to order a part. *The service technician did not call to explain that he would arrive HOURS LATE finally when he did call he said his "truck broke down" -I gave him a break and said "I hope you have a better day." *Even though I gave him a break, he was still a bit rude about the request for an itemized receipt!

The company responded promptly; would have come out the day I
called, except that we had a commitment. Came the next day; specified a
4 hour window. The Tech called before the specified time and asked if
he could come early, and arrived within 15 minutes of the call.
He completed the job quickly.
I cannot comment on the price, as this was my only appliance repair since moving to the area, so I have no frame of reference.
J.I.M is now at the head of my list of preferred providers for appliance repair

It went well overall. The technician knew what he was doing and fixed the issue. He recommended several parts that needed to be replaced. I felt that one of the parts, the computer board, did not need to be replaced. The technician said that if I don't order the computer board and it ended up being bad then there would be another service charge to come out and replace it. It ended up that the computer board ($80) did not need to be replaced, but I could not returned the computer board either.

I called J.I.M. Appliance Repair to repair my clothes dryer.They came out right away and provided excellent service. My clothes dryer was beyond repair, but they only charged me $25.00 for the visit. I was very happy with their service.
